Ticket ballot details on 22:59 - Dec 3 by daveB | when indoors you can't sit closely together so the only way to spread out is to either use both dressing rooms which is a bit daft or the w12 club where everyone fits in |
So the away team changes in the Blue-and-White bar, where they sit 2 metres apart from each other - but they travel down and back in a coach where they sit next to each other?
Ticket ballot details on 09:22 - Dec 4 with 1622 views | robith | I was against it cos I thought the experience would be terrible and I wouldn't be able to go with my dad as he's shielding during his chemo. But everything has been so terrible this year, I'll go just to feel something

I'm not suggesting the rules make any sense or are correct but thats why they are doing it

I think you will find that the players are spread out on a big coach and most of the staff travel separately in mini buses etc. Warburton said something after one of the games about it being his turn to drive back.

Ticket ballot details on 10:49 - Dec 4 with 1523 views | HantsR | Gonna be tight as I've got to go to the hospital at 11.15 Thought I'd log in ready and apparently there's 11 ahead of me in the queue. Update - that was a bit worrying as I got to 11 am and got timed out! Anyway, no probs as I logged on again and applied for both tickets - wait and see now? [Post edited 4 Dec 2020 11:04]

Not first come first served though, all entries judged equally, so I'll wait to later.

I suspect that it is to let the club know that you have no dietary requirements.

Ticket ballot details on 18:32 - Dec 3 by 100percent | I'd also be interested in why some season ticket holders are getting emails from the club and others are not. As yet I've received nothing and I paid for our season tickets outright last april/may.... |
If it puts your mind at rest, I didn't receive an email but logged on OK and applied for both games - got an instant email confirmation of both applications.

and I guess the officials are in the home changing room. At my level we get access to toilets but not dressing rooms or showers. Higher up they DO get access to dressing rooms and showers but are told to arrive in t shirt and tracksuits - instead of the usual shirt and tie - so they can get changed quicker.

Yes could be a bit of an old folks outing that one! Although given the number of people 'working from home' - maybe not!

I suspect its a tick box on a covid risk assessment form. Even us lowly grassroots officials are urged to avoid public transport 'where possible' to get to games. I'm guessing if we do see a sudden upturn in cases after fans return then that will be one of the factors they look at?

I know, ahem, anecdotally, the club don't give a single sht. They want people back in and spending, wherever they're from, and however they get there.

assuming nothing goes wrong clubs can go to the government and say look we've had 1,500 people coming to games on the tube with no one getting ill so can we have some more in please. As you say it's pure box ticking and gathering data to help their cause for getting more fans back
