Week 9 Results CRYSTAL PALACE 4 LEEDS 1 Palace scored four in a Premier League game for the first time in 46 fixtures, last doing so in a 5-3 win over Bournemouth in May 2019. Leeds have conceded 17 goals in their first eight Premier League games this season. They last conceded more at this stage of a top-flight season in 1946-47. Nobody got this spot-on, but 8 did have the outcome. BRENTFORD 0 MIDDLEBROUGH 0 Middlesbrough extended their unbeaten run to 10 games after this bore draw. Again nobody had this spot-on, and just 2 got the outcome. 21 predicted a win for Brentford. NORWICH 1 SWANSEA 0 Norwich took their unbeaten run to 7 in the league with an 84th minute winner. 3 got this spot-on, with a further 15 having the outcome. NOTTINGHAM FOREST 2 WYCOMBE 0 Two goals from Lyle Taylor made it back-to-back wins for Forest and ended Wycombe's three-match unbeaten run. A decent 10 had this spot-on, and another 14 got the outcome. ROTHERHAM 2 PRESTON 1 Rotherham get an 86th minute winner to end Preston's unbeaten away record. Well done to thrillseeker for being the only one to get this spot-on, and 3 more had the outcome. WATFORD 3 COVENTRY 2 Ismaïla Sarr produced another late winner as Watford emerged on top from a wild second half that produced all 5 goals. Another game with no 3 pointer, though 24 did get the outcome with 14 going for a 2-0 in what was the weeks most predicted score. After a tough watch spending over two hours seeing the U's failing to beat the mighty Marine, we follow up with a tough lot of results in the Happy League. Three games failed to have a 3 pointer, and it was left to the Forest 2-0 win to give the week a boost. That win gave us 10 of the weeks total 14 spot-ons. With thrillseeker being the only one to get the Rotherham 2-1 spot-on, two members did well to have the other two games that produced a 3 pointer, the wins for Forest and Norwich, they were concordman, who also had two outcomes to give him a decent 8 points, and make him the weeks top scorer for the second time this season. Also accomplished by unitedwhites, and with one outcome, to give him a very good 7 points. That same total was also achieved by thrillseeker who did best of those who had one 3 pointer this week. In the Premier That good Rotherham 2-1 pick was enough to put thrillseeker back to the top, after a week away. This division has been so tight that his 3 point lead is the biggest anybody has had this season. After leading for the first time last week noah4x4 drops back a place. Having the Forest 2-0 spot-on keeps TheFatGooner in the final Charity Shield spot. There is a change to the relegation spots as gerry_us and Sector4 both move up three places. Though the latter it is only keeping out on the tie-breaker rules. After an unfortunate missed week sevebalo drops five places, though on a low scoring week not too much damage done, as he is still only 8 points from the top three. In Division One Two outcomes were enough for ghughrs11 to remain top, but the top scoring performance from concordman has reduced his lead to those 2 points. Up a place into third is unitedwhites after his very good week, but only by the most 3 pointer rule over wessex_exile. A solid week for blueeagle keeps him fifth. Up into the final play-off spot for the first time this season is Lewis_1. Again it is only by the tie-breaker rules as he just edges out durham_exile and burnsieespana. Only a point further back is oxfcolu after he was the other one to have the Norwich 1-0 spot-on. THE TABLES (74 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 10 Fixtures It is the International break again so we have 5 games from league's 1 and 2.
