In hospital

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I wonder who’ll be the first liberal cuÅ„t to hope he dies?

I had a feeling he would, nobody deserves to die really though, well, not everyone like, just one or two. Few exceptions etc.

OK I've changed it.

Turns out the shape of our government actually matters because bad things can happen in this country. Who would have imagined.

Times like these are what politics is for. Easy to cheer for one side or another when consequences are vague and distant. People voted for austerity and endless cutbacks and now want to forget politics as people are dying. Clap for the NHS in the evening and vote Tory (or a centrist) in the morning. You'd think this would be a reality check.

I hope so but doubt it Jasper.

I disagree with Johnson on loads of things politically. I disagree with Corbyn on loads of things politically.

I simply can’t imagine wishing ill on anyone because I disagree with them politically.

How can anyone expect compassion from others when they have none themselves? I don’t get it.

Either people are psychos or they think it makes them look good.

Just awful.

He didn’t though.

He didn’t say that. He said it was a theory and immediately afterwards in the same sentence said he disagreed with it. The bit that’s cut from the version that did the rounds on social media pushed by momentum trolls.

I hope your friend recovers. As I hope anyone with this recovers. Including Johnson.

It’s an awful thing.

The interview where he said the ‘taking it on the chin’ bit was immediately followed in the same sentence by him saying he disagreed with it. I watched the interview at the time.

To say otherwise is false.

I agree re PPE. I agree re testing. There are loads of things that are a complete shambles it seems to me.

But all of that doesn’t mean it’s ok to lack compassion for another human being who is hospitalised with this because we may disagree with him politically.

Indeed so

If you read my original post I didn’t wish any ill on him .

I’ll leave this here for compassion and I hope you stay safe up there in London , which seems to be a bit of a nightmare up there

A reporter made a valid point that if the Prime Minister was going into hospital simply "for testing" as the Government's press release stated, then the Government would have delayed that for at least a day so that the Queen's speech of reassurance would get the maximum publicity in the newspapers. As it is, that's been overshadowed to a significant extent. Presumably they didn't think that Johnson's admission should be delayed even for a day.

Personally I wish him well.

I’m not sure why the link is relevant?

I didn’t vote for them. I’ve no time for them.

But you can’t say on one hand they lack compassion and use it as a stick to beat them, and on the other hand be the same as them.

Thanks for the good wishes. I’m not sure it’s worse here as such, it’s just that we’re a huge city. And are probably a week or ten days ahead of the curve compared to a lot of the country as a result. Most people are being really sensible and not leaving the house unless it’s essential. Some are beyond thick of course but the majority are not.

Wouldn’t want people laughing at you would you.

You want me dead anyway, you posted "Momento Mori".............but there we go forget that for now and forget we supply the NHS, schools, and have carried on supporting businesses and the general public.

Routine tests for Johnson hey, oh aye.

I wonder if ordinary people would also be admitted to hospital for routine tests at this time or is there more to it and Johnson is very ill with the virus, we shall see which it is in time no doubt.

😂 You are certainly twp. “Memento Mori” is about celebrating life not dying.
As the victorious Roman Emperors or generals would have a slave whisperer to them “Momento Mori”.....in other words be humble in your victory because today could be your last day.

I hope the PM is fine, and hopefully you are fine too, and wishing illness on someone, just remember
“Momento Mori” this could be your last day too.
