Week 25 Results STOKE 2 SWANSEA 0 Swansea are now winless in nine away Championship games, as Stoke eased their relegation worries. Nobody got this spot-on, but the 8 who had them to win 1-0 were denied by Stoke's second goal in the 91st minute. So they have to settle for 1 point along with other 3 who had the outcome. PETERBOROUGH 2 ROTHERHAM 1 Ex U's Sammie Szmodics scored Peterborough's second goal as Rotherham were knocked off top spot in League One as their five-match winning run ended. A magnificent 7 had this spot-on, and another 3 got the outcome. 9 predicted Rotherham to win 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score. ROCHDALE 2 GILLINGHAM 2 Rochdale edged a further point clear of the League One relegation zone after this draw, with Ex U's Ian Henderson scoring for them again. Nobody got this spot-on, but 8 did have the outcome. LEYTON ORIENT 2 NEWPORT 1 Orient ended a six game winless run as two late goals secured victory. Only 2 had this spot-on, and 2 also got the outcome. MANSFIELD 3 BRADFORD CITY 0 Mansfield recorded only their third home League Two win of the season - and their first since 12 October - with a comfortable victory. Another game this week with no 3 pointer, though 7 did have the outcome. MORECAMBE 1 CAMBRIDGE UNITED 1 This point takes Morecambe off the bottom again, as Cambridge are still without a win in 2020. 5 had this spot-on, and 3 more got the outcome. Some more hard to predict fixtures did actually produce four home wins, but with none of them being that obvious, this turned out to be another low scoring week. In the end we had a total of 14 spot-ons, with half of them coming from Peterborough's 2-1, but only 34 outcomes. Those 3 pointers were shared out with 14 members getting one each. The honour of being the weeks top scorer was a four-way tie for those who managed two outcomes to go with their 3 pointer, to give them a good 5 points. They were noah4x4, eagledares and ghughes11 who all had the Peterborough 2-1 spot-on, and durham_exile who got the Morecambe 1-1 spot-on. In the Premier After firing a blank last week any thoughts that noah4x4 may be faltering were dispelled this week, as by having the Peterborough 2-1 spot-on, he has increased his lead to a seasons best 25 points. This was helped by the next seven places only managing 8 points between them. That included mfb_cufc firing a blank after going 64 weeks without one. At the bottom gerry_us and Colukev both used the 1-1 to good effect again by having the Morecambe 1-1 spot-on. The top scoring effort from eagledares has moved him a point nearer to safety, but more importantly for the bottom three they have moved closer to the rest of the division. Only 3 weeks ago there was a 16 point gap to the fourth from bottom. Now only 17 points separate the Charity Shield places to the relegation spots. With two 10 game weeks out of the next three coming up that gap could continue to close. In Division One By getting the Morecambe 1-1 spot-on Blue4U2 increased his lead by a point, as Daniel had to settle for only having the Peterborough 2-1 spot-on, but he did enhance his automatic position by those 3 points as nearest challenger basher2010 fired a blank. Up two places replacing him in third is blueeagle after getting the Orient 2-1 spot-on. Also moving up a couple of places is GOSBTS, who was another to benefit from having the Peterborough 2-1 spot-on, and take him back into the play-off spots for the first time since Week 9. Clinging onto the final pay-off spot is Lewis_1, but only on the most 3 pointer rule, as a blank week has concordman dropping out of the top six. A 3 pointer each for ghughes11, gsy163 and BFG improved their chances of making the play-offs.
