The black hole is now filled
12 wages off books
15 James
3 potter

30m

Manager and support staff to recruit, possibly not from the dole queue and therefore resulting in compensation.

Also a fairly threadbare squad with a few additions needed.

Our financial predicament is far from over.

Have you seen accounts? Accounts that have to be made public? They've taken nothing.

That's the whole problem isn't it - there's apparently nothing to take.

We've got to get the last remaining parasites off the book, the Ayews and the like. Can't move on until they all go.

They do seem to have made £800k in interest loaning money to the club, but we would have paid that to a bank anyway.

May not have taken anything, the whole aim is to flip the club for as much money as they can. So no big investment ( or any... ), sell anything that moves. Cut costs to the bare bones.

Risky in League One let alone the Championship.

Think you have just answered your own question there..........accounts that have to be made public.
In the world of business, not everything will be made public.

There is more than one way to do many things.

Thankfully it's not Jenkins doing the negotiating. It'll be interesting to see what manager Birch picks, assuming he's the one doing the picking.

The bank increased the interest rates because ewe owed more than they could see being repaid.

We should never ever complain about taking the hard line with outgoing transfers for as long as we remain in financial strife.

This is not to be confused with taking too long over a decision.

If Trev wants £20m then I’m happy for him to take a tough stance.

I'd worry about that £15 million you owe. Pay up.

Good.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

To be fair that made me laugh. That would sum our recent transfer dealing up. United offer fifteen million, we hold out for ten.

If Ole is looking at players of the standard of Dan James to solve Man Utd’s problems he will be sacked by Xmas.

Good player but not to the standard they require

Hmmm Lets see , own the club, dont give them money, loan it, and make 800K interest, yep makes sense .

Most people don't run their businesses out of their own pocket, even when they're the sole owner.

It would be nice if they were like Mike Ashley and would hand over £150m in interest free loans, but Newcastle fans think he's a tight git as well so maybe owners can't win. And it's the big thing preventing him from finding a buyer, he wants all that paid back eventually.

£15m for Dan James is a good deal, £20m is brilliant considering he’s in the last season of his contract.

Man U will get a tidy player, if they loan him to Brighton he will be under a manager who knows him and will be able to develop him further. I would like to have seen him do a 12month loan at Swansea, but that’s unrealistic given that there’s no manager in place etc.

Sigurdsson all over again.

That was a problem because it took so long, there was no one decent available when it finally went through, we ended up spunking more than we will probably get for Dan, on Sam Clucas.

Very little of whatever we get this time is going to be reinvested back into the squad, they may as well drag it out and eat a bit more into the black hole.

As long as it isn’t Jordan Ayew all over again of course.
