Perhaps it's got something to do with going old but the tannoy music at the Liberty is dreadful. They play God knows what right up until the kick off whistle.
The best I remember is years ago due to fan pressure they played nothing last 5/10 minutes before ko and let the fans make the noise.
Other than that when we played Cardiff a few years ago they played The Lion Sings tonight, (In the channel...)
It should be that, cheer up Sleepy Gene, or The Swansea City song as we come out and then nothing?

the PA guy doesn't half play some crap music. Also bugs me it's still playing sometimes when players kick off for second half.
he plays crap stuff yes, and ridiculously loud. Should be made to turn it off at least 5 minutes before the start. Nobody sings as they cant hear themselves.

I wish we'd all still sing it when they players are in the huddle, that season when Clement kept us up I think the whole stadium sang it and it was a goosebump moment.

Loud music over the PA, just drowns out any fans, and prevents any “atmosphere” being created.
And who can forget the time they played it during a gameto drown out a protest chant, pre-planned by a fans group for the 29th minute, to represent the 29 “investors”. That was cynical and shameful.

A Cardiff fan once told me he had that 'goosebump moment' when he heard us sing it at away games, all around the country, during our first season in the PL. Fair play to the guy, he didn't have to admit that, but by fk, we must've been good!

Because it was played over the PA. always though it being played made it louder and everyone in sync.
