Week 18 Results CHELSEA 2 MANCHESTER CITY 0 City suffered their first Premier League defeat in 22 games, since a 3-2 loss to Manchester United in April. They also conceded more than one goal in a Premier League game for the first time in 22 matches in the competition, since that derby defeat. Well done to Daniel for being the only one to get this spot-on, and 6 more had the outcome. There were 20 who predicted a win for City. MILLWALL 2 HULL 2 Millwall are now without a win in six league games, conceding 12 goals in the process, while Hull are unbeaten in four away matches. Well done to eagledares for being the only one to have this spot-on, and 3 more got the outcome. There were 19 who predicted a victory for Millwall, with 13 going for a 2-1, in what was the weeks most predicted result. PLYMOUTH 3 BRADFORD CITY 3 League One's bottom side Bradford City led three times at fellow strugglers Plymouth, but had to settle for point in a six goal thriller. Ex U's Freddie Ladapo scored twice for Plymouth to take his goals for the season to 12. Nobody got this spot-on, but 6 did have the outcome. There were 20 who predicted a win for Plymouth. WALSALL 2 COVENTRY 1 Left-back Luke Leahy scored twice in stoppage time as Walsall came from behind to stun their West Midland rivals. Those late goals were good news for the 4 who had this spot-on, and the 6 who got the outcome. BURY 2 EXETER 0 Exeter forward Jayden Stockley had a penalty saved at 1-0 as they slipped out of the play-off places after an eighth league game without a win. A massive 9 got this spot-on, with a further 14 having the outcome. STEVENAGE 0 LINCOLN 1 John Akinde's penalty proved enough to give Lincoln a win with their only shot on target. There were 3 who had this spot-on, and another 11 got the outcome. "Some tough ones to predict in this bunch" said noah4x4, but despite that five out of the six games produced a well supported team, but only Bury and Lincoln delivered. With Bury having half of the 18 total 3 pointers. Only 46 outcomes in total made this a tough week for point scoring if you didn't manage to get a 3 pointer. He thought there was some tough ones to predict, but it didn't stop noah4x4 getting two spot-on, the wins for Bury and Lincoln. and with one outcome it was enough for him to share the honour of being the weeks top scorer with a decent 7 points. Sharing that with him was durham_exile, who came out best of those to get one 3 pointer, the Walsall 2-1 in his case, and with four outcomes to give him that decent score. There were two other members who had two spot-on this week, those being eagledares, who had the Bury 2-0 to go with his good Millwall 2-2 pick, and thrillseeker who was another to have the wins for Bury and Lincoln, and they both got a very good 6 points. With just 3 weeks, and 22 games left now before we know the qualifiers for this seasons Champions League, the member currently in the the eleventh and final qualifying place is thrillseeker with his 80 points. In the Premier We are only one week away from the half-way stage of the season, and by having the Bury 2-0 spot-on sevebalo remains on course to get the magical 200 points for the season. Though I am sure he will just be pleased to win a first Premier title, as the decent week for noah4x4 reduced his lead by 3 points. Up into the final Charity Shield spot for the first time this season is eagledares, who is improving throughout the season, just as he did his promotion last season. Losing out on that spot by the most 3 pointer rule is RSCOSWORTH, and he drops out of the top three for the first time this season. The very good week for thrillseeker moved him up three rungs, as he swaps places with blank firing gsy163. At the other end of the table It has got interesting with the bottom three only being separated by the tie-breaker rules. After Week 13 TheHappyGooner was 11 points from safety. Going 1-0 all games this week, gave them three outcomes, and cut that deficit to zero, but that 1-0 has only produced 7 spot-ons this season, well down on previous seasons. In Division One The lead changes for the fourth week in-a-row, as Colukev with a very good 6 points, that included having the Walsall 2-1 spot-on, takes over at the top again. Just the one outcome for basheer2010 has him clinging onto the other automatic spot, as Sector4 continued his good recent run with a very good 6 points, that included having the Lincoln 1-0 spot-on, to move within a point of that spot. A good day all round for durham_exile, and his top scoring effort took him up a couple of places, and within two points of the play-offs. After failing to show for the fourth week running I have no option but to expel OhOriOri from all Happy League competitions. He becomes the third person to suffer that fate this season. As I have said before this not something I take much pleasure in doing. I would much rather any member wanting to leave, just to let me know of their decision.
