Week 28 Results BRIGHTON 3 COVENTRY 1 Brighton reach the FA Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 1986. Everybody predicted a win for Brighton, with a decent 6 getting it spot-on. WEST BROM 1 SOUTHAMPTON 2 Taxi for Mr Pardew please. There were 3 who had this spot-on, and just 2 more got the outcome. FULHAM 2 ASTON VILLA 0 Fulham made it 10 league games unbeaten and boosted their Championship promotion hopes by ending Aston Villa's seven-match winning run in the league. Well done to Daniel for being the only one to get this spot-on, and another 5 had the outcome. CARDIFF 1 MIDDLESBROUGH 0 A sixth Championship match without defeat for Cardiff. An impressive 8 had this spot-on, with a further 9 getting the outcome. SUNDERLAND 0 BRENTFORD 2 Brentford cruise to a win on their first ever visit to the Stadium of Light. Well done to BFG for being the only one to get 3 points for this, and 6 more had the outcome. MK DONS 1 CHARLTON 2 MK Dons are in big relegation trouble after a sixth successive defeat in all competitions. What a shame. Again there was an impressive 8 who had this spot-on, with a further 8 getting the outcome. SOUTHEND 3 PORTSMOUTH 1 Southend remain unbeaten under new boss Chris Powell as they get a fourth win in five games, against 10-man Portsmouth. Nobody got this spot-on, but 12 did have the outcome. BARNET 1 ACCRINGTON 1 A Billy Kee penalty earns a point for Accrinton. Well done to basher2010 for being the only one to have this spot-on, with nobody getting the outcome. There were 19 who predicted a win for Accrington, with a big 12 going for a 2-1, in what was the most predicted result of the week. CAMBRIDGE UNITED 3 GRIMSBY 1 Cambridge get a comfortable victory, as Grimsby take their winless run to 13, in a meeting between two managerless sides. Nobody got this spot-on, but 17 did have the outcome. CREWE 1 COLCHESTER 0 Crewe bring an end to their six game winless run, as they end the U's unbeaten five match run. Well done to TheHappyGooner for being the only ones to have this spot-on, with nobody getting the outcome. There were 20 who predicted a win for the not so super U's. This week produced twenty-nine 3 pointers, the highest of the season so far, but it was a bit of a hit or miss week, with 22 of those coming in three games. So it was all about getting one from those games, otherwise it was a struggle, with only 7 in the other seven fixtures. There was two members who managed to get three 3 spot-on, they were Daniel, who had the wins for Cardiff, Fulham and Charlton, and with four outcomes, is the weeks top scorer with a brilliant 13 points. Just missing out on this honour was eagledares who had the wins for Brighton, Southampton and Charlton spot-on, and three outcomes, to give him an excellent 12 points. In a week where Division One outscored the Premier by 2 to 1, the other performances of merit came from TheHappyGooner who had the wins for Cardiff and Crewe spot-on, and basher2010 who got 3 points for the Brighton win, as well as the Barnet draw, to give them both a very decent 10 points. In the Premier Getting the Cardiff 1-0 spot-on allowed thrillseeker to open up a two point lead, as noah4x4 and mfb_cufc had to rely on outcomes to keep in touch. By having the wins for Southampton and Charlton spot-on, burnsieespana showed some of the form that saw him finish runner-up last season, with a season equaling best score, and gives him hope of making the Charity Shield again. The form person in this division, with more points than anybody in the last six weeks, is Tropical_Us. Form that has just about guaranteed he will be in the Premier next season, but will need to be maintained to the end of the season to give any chance of making the Charity Shield. In Division One By having the wins for Cardiff and Charlton spot-on, durham_exile maintained his two point lead, but is now TheHappyGooner, fresh from making the Happy Cup Final, who moved into the other automatic spot, after equaling their seasons best score. The tremendous recent form for eagledares went to another level this week, and his seasons best score moved him up another two places into third. Just when looked like his good early season form was going to waste, Daniel was another to produce a seasons best score, and is now firmly back into a play-off spot, and has the automatics right back in sight. On a week of season best scores, another one to achieve this was basher2010, but it was not enough for him to move nearer to a play-off spot. By getting the two FA Cup games spot-on, wessex_exile was another to have a seasons best score. Another to equal his best score was OhOriOri, thanks to having the wins for Brighton and Charlton spot-on. Congratulations to medicine_man for making the Happy Cup Final in his first season.
