Meeting with the directors on 11:38 - Jan 17 by Rooleyblue | Thanks for collecting questions 442. Could you ask about the quality of the food at the catering kiosks. Since the take over of the stadium the quality of food has seriously declined to the point myself and friends no longer use it at all, resulting in the football club losing much needed match day revenue. We ALL (6 of us) who attend together used to buy the foot long sausage (when it was real sausage and not dog food in a skin), this has now stopped, even the pies are now inedible. Thanks in advance. |

Thanks for the questions, presumably the rest really HAD to carry on... Keep them coming, can ask that any that aren’t able to be covered on the evening due to time constraints are answered after so the Trust can stick them on their site.

Meeting with the directors on 16:57 - Jan 17 with 3103 views | BURYFC_1885 | So far questions sent in for this concern the lighting outside the stadium, the food kiosks and the tannoy volume. This is why the Dale Trust and Forever Bury aren't comparable. It's almost laughable to even make a comparison. No wonder the Dale Trust publish their answers when the questions are this tame. Not that this is a bad thing of course, it shows that the club is well ran and has little to worry about off the field. But please don't criticise Forever Bury when your own Trust deal with such comparatively trivial issues themselves.

You should have probably quoted 442Dale and anyone else who's been speaking about your trust recently. No offence but the large majority of us couldn't give a f*ck.

Good. You're a Rochdale fan, it's how I'd expect you to feel. Clearly not one of the obsessed ones!

I wasn't criticising, I was asking questions. In the other thread. Like others, please try and keep this one on topic.

Meeting with the directors on 19:17 - Jan 17 with 2920 views | 442Dale | So far: - Kit: passing on thanks for the idea to reintroduce fan input in designing next year's kit, and a request that it remains that way please. - What happened with kit manufacturers after it was mentioned that we were unhappy with Errea as we've now signed up for another year with them? - are there plans to reintroduce smoking at half time? Are the club considering a smoking area in the corner between the Main Stand & Pearl St? - Tannoy system: what's being done to resolve the sound issue? The volume levels in some stands (Sandy Lane and Main Stand mentioned as being problematic) are almost unbearable at times. Wasn't work carried out to address this in the summer? - what were the club's thoughts on the negativity created around the tannoy announcer's position? - what have been the issues with pitch and what plans are in place to address it before the end of the season? - Season Tickets: is there a plan in place for next season and when will info be released to supporters? - What do the board see as the positives and negatives from this season's season ticket initiative? And what have they learnt from the experiment? - Can we charge away fans whatever they charge us for every game next season? - The lighting outside of the ground especially the main/stand exit is pretty poor and with an uneven floor any chance of this being improved? - How is the new safety officer settling in? Have they had a positive influence? - Why have we sold a player to a team we are in a relegation battle with? - Food at the catering kiosks. Since the take over of the stadium the quality of food has seriously declined to the point myself and friends no longer use it at all, resulting in the football club losing much needed match day revenue. Six supporters used to all buy the foot long hot dog sausages, but these have changed and aren't of the same quality. Similarly the pies aren't as good as in previous years. Why has the club stopped serving steak pies, replacing them with steak and pepper pie? What have the club put in place to review fans' opinions on the catering? [Post edited 17 Jan 2018 19:38]

Sorry for going off topic, 442, but this needs pointing out to our obsessed squatter. In around 2004, Dale had a new director who was a bit of a shady character. He was one of those types who just "walked in off the street", professing how great the club was, blah, blah, blah. Some fans were so suspicious of him that they eventually hired a private detective, out of their own pockets, to investigate him. All sorts were uncovered and passed on to other directors and before too long, our friend was on his way. While that was on a smaller scale to what is happening at the Energy Check, the fact is fans wanted to do something about it and did.

Meeting with the directors on 20:06 - Jan 17 with 2754 views | Newbury_Dale | Can you ask the board how they assess the health of "Team Rochdale" just now ? in fact do they still believe the concept exists ? Can you ask whether the board think that limiting the meaningful online content to paid subscribers is really going to help raise the interest and profile of the club in the long term ? Does the ifollow service generate a worthwhile level of income for the club, versus the potential loss of exposure ? Admittedly early days, but can you ask whether they feel the decision to buy the ground has been justified, financially ? Is the stadium generating a level of income that is making the purchase worthwhile ? Has the board assessed whether the money buying the ground may have been better spent on the playing staff in view of the current league position and the reduced home attendances ? Thanks
