Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Andrew Legg needs to keep quiet though.

Curt, of course, needs to remain part of the club in some capacity and no doubt he will.

If you're talking about his tweet it's no different to what all the other drama queens are saying.

From the feeling I get, Curtis wants to have an easy life now and soak up the football while taking a back seat role.

Is it a fact he's been sacked by text? In guessing not, what has Curtis said? Nothing so far .

Clement needs his own team in there ,part if the problem down there is that everyone e is far too comfortable.

Make no mistake, Curtis will be looked after better than you or me, and rightly so too.

So far it seems people are going overboard looking to bash the club with anything .
I may be wrong but haven't the club said Curtis will have a prominent role within the club, maybe this is exactly what Curtis wants as he moves into retirement.

Let's not go overboard on this until we know 100% what' the situation is .

Curtis was, and is a legend of our club. But surely he doesn't need to be included as a clause in a new managers contract if that manager doesn't need / want him? Too much f*cking knicker wetting goes on these days

Rightly or wrongly, I think it's a bit of a political own goal on Clement's behalf. If he doesn't rate Curt, or want him as part of his setup, then fair enough - but the timing is questionable. You're effectively turning the fans against you before officially taking charge of your first game. Some unity is needed at this stage of the season, not more in-fighting. I'd have more sympathy if this was done at the end of the season.

Turning the fans against him?

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

The club doesn't owe Curt (or anyone else for that matter) a job and the sooner we move away from the idea that it does the better.

As per usual however we seem to have gone about things in a spectacularly classless manner.

Jackportis was sorry to hear of the sacking of Curtis. While clarity has been requested regarding the text Paul Clement has the right to choose his backroom team. One can only assume that PC would feel threatened by Curtis and a spy for HJ.

I think Curtis is anything but a spy for HJ personally, wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they didn't get along actually.

Curtis is always hinting things went badly wrong after Laudrup left (correct), this obviously wont go down well with the nose.

Probably Cardiff because the assembly could then make funds available for it.

Look at the stir it's caused. I'm not saying those outpourings of grief are 100% justified, but it's not great PR for Clement due to that backlash - again irrespective of whether it's the right move or not.

With respect guys, I am surprised at how sensible the posts have been regarding this news. If press headlines are to be believed, Swans fans are ready to revolt, turning against management and already anti Clements. So refreshing to see major Liberty news taken calmly and logically. Of course AC is a Swansea legend, serving us well over the years and has stepped in whenever needed. However, he has also been the second in command when things have gone wrong in recent years. I can therefore understand that the new gaffer wants a new broom although like everyone else I don't know the details of the change. Lets wait to hear the details before formulating any opinions on the circumstances surrounding the change of role and the future role, if any, of the legend that is Alan Curtis in our club. Positive support for the team and the new manager is vital to maintain player morale. A second away win this week end will surely help build that morale.

But it doesn't sound as if "Curtis was sacked in a text message" - more like it that Jenkins was trying to keep Alan informed about what the new manager is considering, and Curt's son reacting to that text?

What about the future of coach Paul Williams, who was brought in Bob Bradley?

He’s in a similar situation as Alan. He will have discussions with Huw about the possibility of another role.

The stir has been caused by little bits of information leaked across social media. If people are to dull to see that then there's not much that can be done. People need to stop following others around like blind fannies.

And those blaming PC need to give their heads a massive wobble.
