Lampard is 38!!! Why the hell would we want him? If our midfield is that bad that a 38 chubber is an improvement then we are doomed
Lampard scored 15 in 29 games in MLS.
Alongside Pirlo in Noo Yawk FC's midfield, for a combined age of around 764.
On a home pitch that was technically illegal - the width was below minimum FIFA standards due to playing at a baseball park. Cynics would say given the amount of zimmer frames used in that midfield, it was an advantage to Noo Yawk.
I can really see how Terry would really improve team morale. No doubt many of the squad would figure he'd shag their significant others - maybe they could then get loaned out to Prem winning teams.

Because he is a class player, he is better than anything Swansea have in midfield even at his age with the exception of Gylfi, although Lamps was a better player than Gylfi prime for prime obviously. Lampard scored lots of goals in the MLS this year, if anybody is within tackling range he will put a tackle in, if he is able to pick his head up he will pick a pass and if he is given the ball in a shooting position or the ball breaks to him on the edge of the area he is likely to score. Swans have half a season to stay up, they would need half a season out of Terry and Lampard that is all, can Lampard prove his worth at this moment in time for half a season on what I have seen of him in the last year or so I would say yes, look who the Swans have in midfield, Leon Britton !!!, Swans fans love him because he is a trier and come from the 4th tier with the club but he is not a patch on Lampard, who else Fer, Ki and Cork, its not pushing it to suggest that even at Franks advanced age that he would be better than those players.

Trampie, Bradley Wright-Phillips scores lots of goals in MLS.
Are you saying he should be signed and picked ahead of Borja, Llorente?
Behave...
Lampard and Gerrard went to MLS solely for the money. Neither particularly impressed there - hell, Lampard was often on the bench in games I saw.
Surely Harry is the only one who would not want a 2/3 year contract. What happens if we give Giggs 3 years and we go down? Solskar Mark 2. The more I think about It Harry is the man... If he fails to keep us up we regroup and plan afresh in summer. If he keeps us up its a win win situation.

its arry!
Imagine the interview Huw and the chuckle brothers would give Redknapp
HJ : "Right Mr Redknapp welcome to Morgan's for your interview to be the coach of Swansea City AFC"
Redknapp:" Just call me 'Arry , it's an honour to speak to you, Huw being the chairman of a top,top club. "
HJ :" Thanks not only Chairman, but Director of Football and Saviour of our great club, in fact just call me God! "
Redknapp : "Yeah ok whatever, right err ....God ,so what sort of kitty will I have to spend in the transfer window if I get the job?"
HJ :"Well I've given a lot of thought about that and it will be sizable, Steve and Jason here and myself think five million will be sufficient!"
Redknapp: " Five million , five million !! That wouldn't buy JT's left bollock !
HJ " Good grief, you wouldn't be buying the players we'll have first dibs and there are a few great players I have lined up for you, like Angus MacSporan the centre half from Falkirks reserves,Kirk Zidell from Den Haags thirds and we have recalled Marvin Emmnes from Blackburn, have you met Marvin ? Great dreads !!"
Redknapp: " Right I'm off , I'd lined up JT , Frankie Lampard and Chris Samba, but all you 'ave got is some no mark from jockoland, a clog bandit and Marvin'sodding'Emmnes ! Right Rosie lets go,"
Door slams
HJ: "Alright so who do we have left on the list Steve ?"
Steve K: " Well we kinda have Martin Sinjinski"
HJ : "Who is he ?"
Steve K "The defensive coach of Sacramento FC !"
HJ :" Is he cheap ?"
Jason L "As you English say "as cheap as chips" he got them to third place in the Californian conference"
HJ "Tidy, that will do me, I couldn't have worked with that Cockney idiot he would have cost too much and that dog would have shit all over the carpet at the Landore training centre! Have you seen the cost of carpet cleaning these days !"

Lampard scored a lot of goals in the Premier League, he scored on the 24th May 2015 for Man City, its only 2016 now. Lampard is a central midfielder not a centre forward, Lampard would not be competing with Borja or Llorente for a starting berth.

Probably doesn't mean anything but interesting third choice of club he has a 'soft spot' for - even if it was 3 months ago...

Money and the fact the standard is lower so they can play on longer.
Lamps may still have enough, but the number of outfield players who can cope in the PL at that age is minute. Giggs, Sherringham, Pearce. He was quality, but when he left a couple of years back he wasn't playing full games regularly. Does he really have the legs?

Lampard would not be expected to play 90 mins all the time, a manager that knows what he is doing would not have him even attempting to play box to box like he did most of his career, I would have him playing between the midfield and the forward line, he could I suppose play between the defence and the midfield if required but obviously not box to box for 90 mins at this stage. A very basic wage and a pay as you play 6 month contract might be in order.
A footballer is not a boxer [fighting once or twice a year at elite level], a boxer might 'age' overnight but footballers tend to fade gradually as they play all the time.

Aye, let's give it to Harry who has been relegated 3 times from the Premier League. Who better in a Premier League relegation scrap than a man who has repeatedly failed to succeed in one.
F*ck my eyes mun.
