Just to bounce this up the forum. There will be forms available on the Trust desk tomorrow. If anyone fancies the Ice Station Zebra challenge (or glorified pub crawl as it has been otherwise called) then please pick up a sponsorship sheet. Many thanks.

The Railway pub in Royton on the corner of High Barn Road and Rochdale Road is pretty much one of the best boozers in the Oldham and Rochdale district, highly recommend it in there as a last stop off point.

I've always loved This Is The One, but if we're talking about songs to have the motivation effect it's not great. Neither was James - Come Home today. I suspect Dave Sweetmore's recent opportunity to interview James for his radio show had a big hand in that decision and fair play for trying to change it. I didn't hate it, I like the song, it was just a big change.
Maybe it will grow on me but I'd sooner we came out to something like Morning Glory by Oasis, or maybe Rock 'n' Roll Star. Maybe Club Foot by Kasabian or Words by Doves. They'd all make me up for the game if I were in the tunnel.
I don't know, maybe just stick with the Roses, I class that as our song these days.
I miss the days where we came out to Triple H's theme music.

Today's was too repetitive. You're waiting for something, it doesn't happen. It needs to inspire/pop the crowd and those about to enter the pitch.
As Chaff suggests, listen to Motorhead's appropriately titled "The Game":

Only a week and a half away now, anyone else up for doing the walk?
There will be some forms on the Trust desk before the bURY game. If anyone wants to pledge electronically then pm me. If anyone wants a sponsorship form emailing to them then please pm me. Cheers.

Don't forget to pick up a sponsor form today if you're planning to walk next week.
Great chance to raise money for the charity voted for by supporters, hopefully the Moorlands Childrens' Home will be benefit from quite a few people walking.
I've just reached the £400 mark for sponsorship pledges for this which is above and beyond what my target was and there's still a week left so the Children's Home will hopefully benefit massively.
