I think it's very clear he was never going to want NW as full time manager and again with NW we may regret it

From what I've seen and heard I like the appointment, he seems charismatic, energetic, hungry to succeed with a strong back room staff and clarity of thought around playing style. Add that to recent success it looks like a job well done by Lee, Les and tony.

Just had a look at league 1 table , Burton are not prolific scorers are they. They have scored 14 odd goals less then those around them, but don't let in a lot.Looks like we can expect a few games like last night in the next few months. |  | | |

I'm sure I read somewhere that Burton had the highest number of goal scoring opportunities in League 1 this season but the lowest level of chances scored. Good news I suppose if they just have a misfiring striker.

What makes you say that? The press rarely know anything useful and usually just link us with whatever names that they can find (whether players or managers). I see no reason to believe that the media have any particular links inside the club who would tell them anything. |  |
