Andy Cannon. 22:07 - Apr 25 with 2443 views

Today was my first trip in about 6 months to Spotland due to several different reasons, but watching Andy Cannon today has filled me with so much optimism for the future of the club. EVERYTHING he did today was so positive. Whether at full back or what seemed to be central midfield in the second half he looked great.

Would love to see him in an advanced position after he put MK's left back on his backside a few times.

Full marks to Hilly and the staff for having the guts to play the youngsters in an out of position.

Brimming with optimism for August.

I'd say today was his worst game. Against a tricky winger that's not a dig against him he just had a tough game.

Well done to the lad for grabbing his opportunity. All the youth teamers should look with hope at the likes of Cannon, Allen, Camps, Logan, Bell all making appearances in the first team. If you're good enough you're old enough, work hard and you'll get a chance
