George Donnelly 12:53 - Jan 8 with 7332 views | GhanaDale | Transfer listed by Tranmere. I've heard good things about this lad, runs himself into the ground apparently, worth a shot? Can only be better than the dogshit we have up front right now.

Great OP (tongue in cheek I presume!) We do however have somebody who does what Georgie did (i.e. snap at the heels of defenders closing down long balls etc) - Matt Done Unfortunately thats virtually all he can do. Fortunately for us, when Done chases and then wins the ball he knows what to do with it!!!!!!

Don't have any axe to grind with George, he was limited talent wise but always tried his best and put in a good shift. We have had a lot worse over the years, hope he does well in the future.
George Donnelly on 15:09 - Jan 8 with 6794 views | dancdale | Until he acknowledges his crimes and apologises I dont think any club should even consider signing him. Even then I think he's likely to re-offend in the future. And for those who think he's not guilty of anything- I for one definitely did not consent to what he subjected me to. He still has the right to earn a living- just not as a footballer. [Post edited 8 Jan 2015 15:10]

George Donnelly on 17:57 - Jan 8 with 6430 views | ColDale | Looking like George is another feather in Hilly's cap. Relegated with Macc, and not good enough for a relegation threatened team in Tranmere, but 32 games in a promotion team in between that.

That's scraping the barrel. Hilly inherited George, and got rid as soon as another team were stupid enough to take him on. The feather in his cap was getting money for him!

All true, but he still made the most of him whilst he was available, whilst he's not even been offered that at Tranmere. The easy thing would have been to ditch him but whilst at his disposal, he used him and got every bit out of George that he could. George practically played the same number of league games as Scott Hogan did last season.

George Donnelly on 08:49 - Jan 10 with 5214 views | fitzochris | I always admired George for his effort in the limited times I saw him play. However, the game against Peterborough this season reaffirmed to me that he was a passenger and just wasn't up to the level we're now at. The fact we got money for him was as hard to believe as that shot he put out for a throw in against Posh.
