Dale v Forest: ticket news on 12:53 - Dec 28 with 4527 views | Nigeriamark | I wonder if Stuart Pearce could be the next victim of the Rochdale Curse i.e sacked after losing to lowly Rochdale. Although they are 10th, they were top in Mid September but have only won 2 games since then. Probably not but there is a lot of pressure on Forest next week. Their Chairman might just think about a change for the transfer window if we totally out play them

Dale v Forest: ticket news on 12:37 - Dec 28 by DorsetDale | I rang the club to find a way of ordering my exile ticket before phone lines were open. Didn't want to put credit card details in email. Spoke to Leighanne who helpfully got me through to sales. Upshot of which Colin mailed me the booking form to fill out without cc details. On receiving my mail Jan rang me back, took details over the phone and I now have a ticket waiting to be picked. No booking fee and obviously no postage fee. Thanks to all involved. |
Good on them I say.......but, Dorset's experience was hardly a slick job was it? Need to streamline that a lot better?

True, but had I chose to wait for phone sales I'm sure from previous experience it would have been straight forward.

Having checked out on here and the fishul site. I decided to set off from South Yorkshire at noon and collect my Forest ticket before the Fleetwood match as there was nothing anywhere to say they WOULDNT be on sale then and i didnt fancy standing afound for over an hour after the game like last year. Having then sat on the M62 in solid traffic for over an hour i arrived in the queue at the ticket office at 2.15 there were a few in the queue. We were told that the cup tickets would not be on sale until after the game. It turns out the nearly everyone wanted cup tickets and i pointed out that i was an exile and didnt want to be stood round in the cold for ages after the game and i had made an effort to arrive early and nothing had been said about the cup tickets being withdrawn until after todays game. Anyways common sense prevailed and we got our tickets but after leaving the window a member of staff pointed out that the tickets were on sale from yesterday morning and the ticket office would be open from tomorrow morning as well . So she obviously thinks that i dont travel to support the team enough or spend enough already. I eplained where i lived but she replied that they cant keep everyone happy! If they want to keep the windows clear at the ticket office, why dont they tell us that they wont be on sale til after the match. or sell the unreserved tickets at the club shop or something? I dont think its unreasonable to expect to buy a cup ticket on a match day?

The opening hours were on the OS two days ago. The possibility of a situation around what time Forest tickets would be on sale until was brought up on here prior to this. However, the story on the OS makes NO mention of those tickets not being able to be bought up until kick off. http://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/article/updated-ticket-office-opening-hours-21 No points for anyone pointing out what it does say...

Dale v Forest: ticket news on 19:57 - Dec 28 with 4217 views | Yorkshire_Dale | Another poor experience for Masher, and the Staff member who collared him afterwards should not be sent on a Diplomatic Mission to the Middle East.......get real folks. There is a saying that the "customer get what he wants" or the "customer is always right" Get the tickets sold! Another saying,"if you can't sell apples sell oranges"..or FA CUP Tickets.

2500 tickets sold and they now go on open sale - so hopefully they'll shift the last 1000. Not many hopeful of them getting anything on there - but we are in an awful run at home so will be an interesting game.

As everyone has then unnecessarily trecked down to get tickets for no reason,or messed about trying to get others to sort their tickets out when it was never going to sell out the home end?

A trip up to Spotland isn't that much of a hardship for most fans though, and season ticket holders could buy 4 tickets! And most seated fans would get a ticket for this game even if it was pay on the day - just to get their usual seat? I know I have done in the past. Don't see any reason why the club can't announce its pay on the day if the stadium will only be 2/3 full. I'm sure some people will want to go last minute.

Hence the no reason to make it all ticket for home fans even more so with Forest hardly selling out weeks ago, its over kill from the Oldham game
