Updates and embellishments to follow. Triffic lad, super player, not a minute's bother etc etc.
Ale will work hard to get back again. He was ready to play. He played against Hull, he came on against Spurs. Whenever he played he could have done it, he could have done it in training.
It's gonna be a very, very 'ard season but I'm still very confident. We were way behind everybody else at the start, because when we came back we had no team, we had 8 loans who went back to their clubs, we came back with 13 players. Haven't had time to gel or knit a team together. You can't just throw em in and away we go otherwise you wouldn't have a pre-season. Very confident that after this break you'll see a different QPR side.
Probably gonna be very busy to the deadline - makes a sign as if winding a car window down - the chairman is working 'ard, he's here.
Mo Diame is a good player. No inquiry. Good player. Plays for West Ham. (alright steady on Poirot).
No need for fresh legs at the back. Not at all. Dunney's a good player. Rio is a fentastic player. Outstanding in two games. Last week him and Caulker were our best players. Delighted with them (lost two, conceded five). People make too much of systems. I talk to other clubs, managers who are friends of mine, playing that system and it's goin fentastic for them.
Little bit of qwality in certain positions, the players I want, if we get em in, we'll be strong. Crouchy's a fabulous fella. And Niko's a lovely boy.
No idea where the Alex McCarthy deal is. He'd be a good signing for the club.
One or two might go. Seven of the team at Burton were here when we got relegated - you'd like to freshen it up. We'll see what happens.
No opinion on the Ebola crisis. Had a lot of African players in my time, lovely boys, good players, you don't like to see it, the old ebola. Don't know a lot abaght ebola to be honest.
They finished very well, improved their squad, Gus is a top, top fella, done a good job. We're at home, got a big job.
See how Charlie is today, he'll come out today and we'll see if he's fit or not.
It;s another game, with three points, same as all the other games really. (Jesus Christ he's hard work today).
I'm hoping it won't take us 17 games this time. No doubt about that.
Good atmosphere always. Looking forward to it.
No Vargas tomorrow. I haven't seen him since last week. Don't know where he is. Got to get a passport or something. In Italy I think. Had to go home and get a work permit. Haven't seen him.
We've had an offer from Palace for Traore. It's an offer. It's up to Armand. His decision. We'll see what happens today.
What was I supposed to say? We played badly at Burton with that group of players, what should I say? We were poor, you can't keep fannying people up all the time (steady on vicar). People aren't stupid, they stood and watched, they saw what they saw, we played bad, a group of lads had a chance to get back in the team, they didn't take it, that's how it was.
Need the phone to ring. Somebody wanting to take em. I can say I want you to move, but somebody has to want them. Quite a few players I would listen to offers for, lots I wouldn't but some I would.
Signing a new deal today or tomorrow. Two year extension. I'll sign it. I haven't read it, probably won't even read it, I'll just sign it you know. Saints preserve us. Everybody into the lifeboats. Women and children first.
Only some idiots writing rubbish, people who don't understand the game want to write nonsense. Tony wants me to sign a two year extension, asking me for a while, when they put it in front of me I'll sign it, maybe today.
We're back in the Premier League, I want to stay here, we will stay here.
Les Ferdinand story is rubbish. Director of football? Les? Do me a fava. I love Les, I took hm back to Tottenham. super fella, loves his mum, great player. I've got Glenn here, we'll end up with more coaches than players if we're not careful. Les would be a great person to have here, but I don't know where this DOF stuff is coming.
Adel is a fentastic talent, best player the other night, he hasn't trained since the first day, did well to get through 90 minutes AND HE WILL BE INVOLVED TOMORROW. SOUND THE TAARABT ALARM, RING THE FACKING BELL YOU CANTS. WILL BE INVOLVED TOMORROW.
Bondy starts playing the piano early. Cockles and mussles, alive alive oh.
I don't enjoy transfer deadline day - bullsht meter just smashed to pieces - I want to play in peter Allis' golf day on Monday but I've had to pull out, I've realised it was transfer window day, I was looking forward to a day off, but I'll have to cam in, it's a disappointment.
Please be upstanding for Roll Out The Barrell. We're done here.

Sorry North, but Shirley your perpetrating a real wheeze on us fans mate. Come on now, tell us the truth, what was really said?
I mean...... 1) Adel best man the other night and not trained but playing tomorrow? 2) 19 man squad? We need 25 in the prem don't we? 3) selling up to 3 possibly more players? Where the Fcuk are the replacements coming from at this late stage? 4) Doesn't know where his latest signing is and he's the manager? 5) things will be different after the break? Really? How so? 6) shipped 6 in 3 matches for no return, and that's seemingly acceptable? 7) what was the pre season all about against primarily 10th rate opponents most of who me we were lucky not to lose against 8) if Les isn't coming in, who the Fcuk will motivate our pedestrians? 9) why oh why do we only have 2 recognised but fragile strikers? You could lose both to injury in 1 game and have no back up for months! 10) a 2 year contract ( by the way that's probably the best you've ever made up)
Come on now, fess up, we'll all have a collective laugh at our naievety and not all collectively lump on QPR to get relegated with a record low points and goals scored total ( anyone know the odds)?
So Philips has gone from £4m player to what in a year, most of which he was injured. That will teach him to not score while playing the lone striker role !
Seriously, potentially in his right position one of our best 3 players.
It's being so happy that keeps me going.

In the press bit afterwards, which isn't filmed, it seems he's added Simpson going to Leicester, and interest in Phillips and Onuoha as well. If we let Traore, Simpson and Onuoha go, what defenders do we actually have left? This fascination with Richard Dunne cannot go on.
Remind me again: Just how much is Fernandes paying Redknapp to sabotage our club?
Simpson to go? Mental!
It's about time Redknapp and his clowns actually paid some attention to what their players are doing in training and on the pitch rather than relying on fading memories of episodes of MOTD from 2005-2010.
Really, really had enough of HR now. I honestly feel that he is making such stupid decisions that him staying destabilises the club more than the arrival of a replacement manager (one who takes some pride in his work and who can actually coach and pay attention for five sconds, ideally) would.

Has anyone got direct quotes on what he said re Dunne/Traore/Ned?
I can't believe what is being said is true because it mind-boggling for so many different reasons.
The quotes in the first post about Dunne and Traore are accurate. The Onuoha stuff is coming from the print lads who go after the broadcast ones - we don't get to see that.

You can see the actual press conference here (I presume it is ok to post this link Clive?) I enjoy reading the parody version but you probably need to actually watch the real one for a bit of balance

That was real? Are you kidding? Jesus Christ, I've never seen someone so desperate to retire and so non-plused about being a manager. Why the fk are we offering him a new deal? SOMEONE MAKE ME UNDERSTAND!
Because TF (and me as you know ) think he is our best bet to stay in this league . That releases another 80 odd mil . So if we had to part after that we would pay him off 18 months and be quids in . He needs to retain him this season and stop other clubs paying his contract up and taking him
Arguably TF fired Warnock too early , then he appointed Hughes ..disaster . He will take some persuading to admit that he has got it wrong again ... especially after Wembley .
If he was desperate to retire he could just walk away 8 months salary is nothing to him . He would pick that up from TV work

Ok, accepting all of that, a new contract still makes no sense. If you're right, and he keeps us up, and does a good job, then at the end of the season give him another contract. Why do we need to give him one now? Are we supposed to believe there's a queue of other clubs waiting to take advantage of the situation and grab him from us?
We either stay the same or lose from this situation. We don't win.

I predict Tony will give Harry a new contract because he wants stability (this month) - then he'll panic when we are firmly embedded in the bottom 3 come November and sack him.
Almost as predictable as Harry starting a cup match with no strikers or 2 keepers on the bench...

Exactly norf. I'd even say, as much as it hurts, that if we were say, 15th or even 16th in Jan and things were ok, you could discuss a deal then. Now seems utter, utter madness. No one - and I mean NO ONE else is going to come in for Harry. The idea is ludicrous. And even if they did - cash in and move on!

Can I please have some of what you are all taking! I cannot beleive the stuff I am reading on this thread. We are two matches into the season for f*%k sake.
Painting HR as some clown undermines the positives he has contributed to the club, such as clearing up the mess left by Hughes and getting us promoted. You were all calling out for stability when TF got shot of Warnock and Hughes and just when he makes a step to provide that stability, he is labelled as some madman.
C'mon - other than the obvious managers you all call out for (God help us if Pullis walked through the door) who would you give the job to today?
So what if players have to go - actually Simpson would not be a great loss - it is what happens in football. How about taking your foot of the football clubs throat until after the transfer deadline and maybe give HR until Xmas until you crucify him?

Yeh cos that's what I said isn't it? Don't want him to leave, don't think he's done a bad job, don't think we're in a bad position, don't think he's a clown, love stability etc etc. All I'm saying is I don't understand why you'd give him another contract now. Keep us up this season, have another contract.

Same position here, Norf. It seems pretty obvious, Boston? We have stability. He's been here nearly 2 years, he has nearly a year left. He's not going to get poached by anyone. All we're saying is take a breath and leave it for a while. No reason why this decision can't be made next summer.
Although, contrary to norf, i do think he's a clown (albeit an incredibly boring, cautious one who hires a load of other clown to do all his clown work for him) and can't wait for him to go. but that doesn't mean I think he should be fired now.
Bare bones.

Can we please stop giving 'Arry credit for this?
He inherited a mess from Hughes, but he still got us relegated. Both Poyet and Pulis kept teams up last season from similar/worse positions, spending less cash to boot!
Ostracizing highly paid players until we have to pay them off to leave (Cesar), their contracts expire (Mbia, Andy Johnson), endless loans (Diakite) or they retire (Park) does not make Redknapp a saviour.
What about all the needless signings he made too? Chevanton, Onyewu, Keane, Maiga, Aaron Hughes, Delletorre.

3 matches in , no goals, 6 conceded, poor pre season, shed loads of players in & out, terrible performances in the last 2, players like simpson, Ned& Phillips being forced out, Triffic, BTW Boston I was there like a tvvat on Wednesday, watching SWP fall over again HR is not a clown Far from it , he is a cunning con man yes we want stability but with a Manager like Howe or Robinson, ask the majority on here and half of us couldn't care what league we are in, the majority want good young players , a good youth set up, with maybe a half decent training ground (hello Tony) and to see some decent attacking displays (remember them ? )
HR has been in charge nearly 3 years, in that 3 years we have had to put up with some of the most depressing football not seen since the likes of Paul Hart was here what's the answer, more players of course
Our set pieces for & against are worst now then when Hughes was here our coaching set up is a joke,( good old Bondy his triffic for a lift home ,) HR views our club as a pension top up for him & Sandra, that's all, he doesn't care long term, he doesn't care about us, to Him TF is a walkover , a cash cow , he can't be bothered to get off his a rse and actually do anything on matchdays
we went up in spite of him ,last year was awful on par with the season before that that championship was terrible last year, the Warnock team would have got about 120 points you will come back and say "what about Wembley" yes it was a great day but he nearly ballsed that up, the team for the 2nd leg was a disgrace, same as the final, all the while he was thinking about what golf club to join
if the answer is Pullis then yes all day over del boy,
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Well as the spin coming out of the club is that Steve Black and his Chimp Paradox has transformed Traore, he's ready to get serious, he's a great fit for our new 3-5-2 tactics and he's just signed a new contract...
Surely you can understand the confusion that he is now potentially being sold?
