So, has Riga won the stand off? 20:04 - Aug 5 with 3838 viewsRusty2Stands

There appears to be at least some quality players coming in, all be it too late, and as yet nowhere near enough.
Does this means Koko blinked first and Riga has got his way?
Whatever has happened, full marks to Riga for having the resolve to stand up to the buffoon. Already a Blackpool legend without managing a competitive game.
Who do you think won, Riga or the buffoon?

Agree with this.

On paper, a few of the new additions looks very decent, but tbf, I thought that when we signed Davies last year. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

One thing's for sure, though: the preparation has been very far from ideal, and it will take them a good few weeks to start to look anything like a team. Only one man to blame for that, imo.

Cubero, zenjov, oriol, orlandi. Do you think any of them are oyston signings?.. looks to me like riga has won the battle. Now with us fans, needs to win the war. Oyston out!!

Yeah, im sure both sides had to make a compromise somewhere along the line.

I would tend to agree with previous posts, that there has been a compromise.
But as hard as I try, I just can't imagine bowlhead compromising.
Whatever the outcome, we as fans owe a big thank you to Riga.
Not only has he stood up to Koko, his stance has helped to bring our predicament to the attention of the national media. And that in turn has put the spotlight on the Oystons.
Add to that the efforts of TAM and all involved at BST, and I think we owe them and Riga a big thank you.

Our form at the start of the season very much kept us up last season by the skin of our teeth...

For now Riga seems to have persuaded Karl to get some quality in. However I feel that there will have been a compromise, can't see Delfouneso being high on Riga's list initially.

Even if it takes 10 games to get up and running..
and it may do im not saying we are gonna win the first five...
But the squad this guy is assembling is gonna be..
10 times better than last season...
Basham n Osbourne couldn't make a 1 yard pass...
A donkey is faster than McKenzie..
Robinson couldn't be bothered towards the end..
Need I go on ?
