I wont write a long winded reply as i have many opinions on the officiating in football and its utter ineptness and non use of technology.
Anyway, two things. Ex refs always insist that during a game they judge each incident on its own merits and aren't influenced if they have just made a big call. BOLLOX, complete lies. Didn't give the pen as he just gaveone, that was the only reason. Following suit, Gerrard should have gone. |  |
