Southampton Agree Fee For Blackburn Rovers Striker Monday, 9th Aug 2021 10:21 Saints have agreed a fee with Blackburn Rovers for Adam Armstrong to move to the South Coast and now have permission to speak to the striker and agree terms according to Sky Sports.
Saints are said to be in pole position to sign Adam Armstrong after agreeing a fee with Blackburn, they are now going to meet with the player and discuss terms with a source saying this is not expected to be an issue.

Well as I said before I see us coming like 13th’ish now as long as no other major player is sold. Still it’ll be interesting to see how he gets on in the prem compared to how Adams did in his first season. | | |

Fingers crossed that we have pulled off at least three signings that are going to be absolute gems. And, even if they are sold in a couple of years time for substantial fees, at least the club won't be in administration or receivership any time soon. Great news. | | |

This is good news. It's not guaranteed that Armstrong will continue his Championship goalscoring form in the Premier League but he has great pace which is a key factor at this level, and with the brilliant Livramento creating lots of chances for him, he should be fine. It would be great if they could both play at Everton. Now, we need to ask Bournemouth if they would please take Long back and, with Broja coming in from Chelsea, maybe they could take Obafemi on loan too. | | |
