The REAL Club Statement

Home > Story Index >The Real Club Statement

In another JackArmy.net exclusive, we reveal what the statement that the club has issued tonight really said before it was re-written to sound much better than it had before. This was the original version : -
Since getting the club off one unpopular owner six weeks ago, the only aim of the new unpopular owner has been to create havoc after receiving bad advice and ensure that the people of Swansea were shat upon from a great height. This has involved selling the club's best player for peanuts and trying to sack seven more players as well as halve the income of some others without a thought at all. All today has done is almost put the club back into the hands of someone who cares and the present owners of Swansea City are only interested in themselves and not the football club.
For a number of years the supporters of the club have been laughed at by the owners of the club and whilst we have to mention the supporter's trust, in truth we are laughing at them from behind closed doors. We are now giving away a third of the shares of the club without charge, although we reserve the right to charge if we decide we want to, to give them a piece of paper which in effect means bugger all.
The current owners believe that the future of Swansea City looks bleak under their leadership. The finances of the club are being passed into the pockets of those that want it and those that least deserve it. Ownership of the club is being extended although there are no plans to provide all shareholders with a company Jaguar, that privilege belongs to Mike Lewis only. The aims are now to stick two fingers up to the supporter's of the club, prepare to move to the Morfa Stadium and hopefully make some money somewhere off the back of the supporters.
Of course, the statement had to be re-written before it was sent to the public and the one that you read on the club's official site was the re-worded version.
