Could really do with some advice from someone with a bit more mechanical knowledge than myself please. Over the last week or so I've had a gradually increasing ticking/knocking sound coming from what sounds like the front right wheel. It only does it when i corner at high speed such as a wide bend in the road or a large roundabout. Nothing going straight or pulling out of junctions etc. My instant thought was the C.V joint from previous experiences and speaking to others. I booked the car in to have what I thought was the shaft and joint replaced as this was advised. The car was kept in over the weekend as they struggled to get the correct one to fit so I was told. Went and picked the car up today and paid 250 for the job. As I drove it home I soon realised to car was still making the exact same noise as before. Once I got home I put the car up on ramps to inspect it and for my father to have a look. We have now discovered that the gator was not correctly fitted and there is excess grease everywhere and what I believe to be the drive shaft is very loose when I move it back and forth as in in and out from the wheel itself, the other side is solid with no play at all so this doesn't seem right to me.
Any advise on this would be much appreciated guys! p.s it's a 10 plate fiat punto evo.
Maybe someone at the game can give us a better idea but from the radio it sounded like he had a solid game against top Championship opposition, It's nice to have a local lad back in and around the first team. Hope he is given more of a chance going forward as he cant be any worse than Naughton this season.
Would it be confiscated by stewards? I know it would be at the turnstiles but should one be brought in how likely is it that they would try and remove it?
Right guys, haven't been fishing in about 10-12 years when i was a kid. Recently decided to take it up again to have some chill time. Used to go down loughor mainly but was never any good at it. Anyone got any advice on how to fish it and when is best etc.
P.s Please keep it really simple as I'm crap with technical terms and so on. At the moment I'm happy with a weight/float and some bread on the end or a lure.
My android is short of memory so I've put an 16Gb SD card in but Im only able to transfer 1 or 2 apps to it. Ive not got many apps as it is other than the ones that come with the phone and I can't remove. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Right, need some input please guys. took my car for a service today as I'm going up north Wales next week and I haven't had it checked in a while. Was expecting or 2 things but I well underestimated it! basically it needs about £8-900 worth of work on various things. Now I could afford to get the work done but the thing I keep asking myself is A) What REALLY needs doing and is what they are telling me completely true or are they just trying to make more £'s and B) is it worth it when you consider I have a 52 plate civic with 80k+ on the clock. Normally I'm happy to have a go at changing parts myself depending on how much work is involved but these seem a bit too much for my experience.

We all know this has been done to death over the years but having just seen someone discussing it in the Joe Allen thread it got me thinking, how long do we have to be competing at this level (having won a major cup) before we start climbing the ladder in terms of club size? and what else to we need to do other than expand.

Thinking of doing the front ones for now, how much roughly for parts + labour and would I save much by ordering the parts and just paying for fitting?
Iv'e thought the players let us down a fair bit in recent times but anyone who thinks that result is down to the players is mad. The most effort I've seen in a good while, but a massive shame the ref and linesman/men felt they needed to change the result for whatever reason.
