the scarecrow is a great film....
i first got to see it on tele in the early 90's, videotron.
just flicking through and lucky enough to catch the very beginning of the film where hackman and pacino are deep in conversation along some railway tracks i think, and completely lured me in.
hackman is quite violent in the film, where as pacino plays a complete opposite role to what we are used to him being in.
well worth a watch... |

we've got our lovely forever r's, favourite players/legends portrayed at half time during home games.....and a great idea.
would'nt it be lovely if we could have an alternative...forever R'SOLES.
but who would be your first lot on the pitch in stocks and pillories pelted with tomatoes at half time.....some would like to throw other stuff, but a family show.
I think a firm favourite would be joey barton and possibly mick beale, no deffinately.

have you ever cried watching us....yes, 1982 highbury semi final..
crystal palace 6-0, survival.
most important of all, have you ever shed a tear watching your kids, partners, parents getting exited watching our beloved qpr.
got choked up watching my son his cousins absolutely going mad when we beat arsenal away 3-1 when jensen scored.....
my grandson , 11 at the time when we beat burton away 3-1 away a few years ago.

it was a cracking day.
just thought i'd remark on dunnes finish today, a touch of class.
puts gabriel of arsenals late effort against wet ham today to shame.....touch of an elephant.

yep guilty.......
watched it ever since it started.
but only watched it because i was part of the team that actually built the set at elstree all them years ago, transforming the old auf wiedersehen pet set into the original eastenders set. |
