A Walk in the (Queens) Park.

Love John Roger’s videos. I bought his book - This Other London. Worth a read if you like his work.

If you’re into ‘psychogeography’ I highly recommend the work of Patrick Keiller, particularly his film ‘London’ and book: The View from the Train: Cities and other landscapes.

If you compare the stats between Willock and Chair, there's not much between them.

Willock - 20 goals and 22 assists in 140 games.
Chair - 34 goals and 36 assists in 230 games.

Chris actually has a higher 'player score' on who scored - 86.7% vs 82.6%. IMO I think Willock was a better player. I also think, had he not got injured would have surpassed Chair. I can't prove that, but that's my view based on the stats and what I've seen at games. There is a bit of bias on my part, as good as Chair is, I just don't like his style of play. I always thought Willock was technically superior and was better to watch on the ball.

All opinions, and I get why some are salty about him leaving.

RE: Saito, I do like him. Definitely one of our better signings, but too soon to tell how he will progress. He is playing in a worse side than Willock did, which counts in his favour.

I think we can agree to disagree on that.

Best player we've had since Eze but his progress was sadly halted by his injuries. Even when he came back he was still our best player.

I have no issue with him going to Cardiff. He's a pro, it's what they do, play for money. As has already been said, we got the best out of him.

A win would be great, but if it doesn't happen I really hope at the very least Celar scores.

Is this now the must win game for Cifuentes that Stoke wasn't?

Will it be the victory that kick starts our season or just prolongs the grim inevitably?

What's crazier, traveling to Cardiff to watch the game or thinking Celar will score?

One thing is for sure - there's a maximum of 3 points available for this six-pointer.

Very much agree, I was gutted for him. Terrible penalty, must have killed what was left of his confidence.

On separate note, I thought Madsen was the penalty taker?

Everywhere I have been as a manager I achieved the target the club asked me to achieve.

Marti, you’ve been well and truly QPR’d.

I’m with you on that. It felt very bleak today. Despite the slightly more encouraging stats and effort we still weren’t good enough.

Despite all our effort, we were not good enough.

I didn’t see anything that gave me confidence or hope. That penalty miss…my god!

Time is all we have, just have to pray we get a few wins and that three other teams are worse than us.

How mad am I to leave my family for the afternoon, to go and watch this team in the cold and rain, knowing how bad they’d be?

Edit: Calmed down slightly - very pleased Saito scored.

Definitely try some sagardoa (cider). I recall Nueva Plaza in the Old Town being lively at night and having some nice eating/drinking establishments.

Agree with others about the Guggenheim, impressive building, artwork less so. Although, the pintxos from the cafe was very nice.

This is it, these players won't come back and play a full 90, peak fitness and performance. It'll take a few games to get them up to speed.

As Clive says, we can't afford to sack-off any more games.

I don't want Marti sacked either, but I am considering the possibility that another loss could be the end for him. I think this is the worse we've been since we've come back down from the PL? We all know the context, but as I've mentioned in my previous replies - do the decision makers see it as we do?

You could be right regarding the next three games, but I suppose it depends how other results go? If we win and the teams around us lose, great. If we lose and they win, then we're really starting to look cut adrift.

I think Marti being sacked would be the season defining action, I just wonder if this game is the decider for him?

A very reasoned view, but will the owners see it as you do?

Marti certainly has long line of credit...with the fans, but do the decision makers feel the same?

Did we really need such a detailed update? Something along the lines of sh*t, creek and paddle would have done.
