I disagree. I'm pretty sure I know the chap from another forum and would say I've always found him very reasonable. If we're speaking about Mart6 I would say 100% no ban as the fella does speak (or not speak) a lot of sense. |

I put mind your language on a few years back in front of a Hong Kong and Yemen imigrant, just to show them what things were like back then and they loved it :) |

Wasn't Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon brought up in those parts? Probably explains it |

I'm pretty sure I'm Happy was called "It's only when I laugh" or something along those lines. The theme song was "I'm H-A-P-P-Y - I know I am I'm sure I am I'm H-A-P-P-Y" :) Not sure when that was without checking on but I'd guess ealy 80's |

I always liked the Manics and will never get over the disappointment of them being bottled off stage at the Heineken festival around 94 |
| Forum Reply | If you have any doubts about vaccination…. at 20:11 19 Sep 2021
Hi, thank you very much. Yes I did. Was in for 4 days. Oxygen levels were stupid low and my heard was doing 130 constant when I went in. Wouldn't be surprised if the heart was the stress mind as that seemed to calm pretty quick after getting oxygen. The weird thing is, is that during the time I didn't feel too bad I was kind of yawning all of the time, but not yawning. Didn't put it down to not not enough oxygen until it was too late. :) [Post edited 19 Sep 2021 20:23]

Thank you very much mate, me too! :) I really hope your mate gets throught it makes a full recovery, that's awful! It's certainly not to be messed with and when it comes is fkn terrifying. My advice to everybody would be not to wait for your time to come. |

After seeing all the different opinions here I thought I'd share my experiences over the last 18 months or so. Got Covid during early 2020, felt pretty rough, just mainly tired for a couple of weeks and then out of sorts for a couple more weeks and then was pretty much back to normal. When the vaccination roll out happened, for me there were a few reasons not to have it but the first was probably that I just wasn't that afraid of covid. During Feb this year I had another dose which made the first seem like nothing. I remember not feeling well for a few days so got tested and came back positive, but it wasn't that bad. Got the test done on the Wednesday and on the following Saturday woke up during the early hours to feel like only what I can describe as working on half a lung. Getting breath in was impossible. I remember laying in bed thinking if I could get back to sleep for an hour it might be better but just stayed there for about half an hour, before calling 999 crying, so afraid that if I did go to sleep I wasn't waking back up. It was the first time in my life I thought my time was over. (Well apart from an iffy car crash in the 90's) It really wasn't fun, that's from somebody in his mid 40's with no ailments and up until this year I'd only been in hospital with broken bones. I've been fine for the last 4-5 months but still check in with my mother, every day at mid-day, just to let her know I'm still here! I'm now of course vaccinated and would think an experience such as my own might make others rethink their position on this. |

My uncle played there during the early 80's, remember going to watch him most weekends with my dad. He was on Manchester United books at one point and was very highly thought of in the mid 70's |

The use companies all over the world as a front. My ex father in law was a medical auditor and spent loads of time in Israel. Was quite surprised when he told me how they operate. |

I watched this last night on your recommendation after trying to watch it a few times but giving up within half an hour each time. Wow is all I can say, what a magnificent film! I've always liked Wes Anderson but this has moved into the top spot of his stuff, for me. |

Agreed. Watched it yesterday, was the best film I've seen in a while. Actually preferred it to lock stock and snatch, both of which I love. |

Exacty the question I came on here to ask. Does anybody know if MOT centres will be remaining open during this lockdown? |

Thanks mate. I have been monitoring my temp. It was high yesterday and Monday but has dropped loads today, only 97F currently, on the lower end of normal but probably something to do with all of the windows being open. :) |

Thanks Muteswan. As for the force - Always :) I'm really not concered about myself, just feels like a heavy cold. More concerned about my parents as was with them on Sunday and dad is classed as a high risk. No sign of anything untoward going on there at the moment but mum has been forcing use of alcohol gel every half an hour for the last month. :) |

I'm currently in isolation after feeling like shit since Sunday. Found out on Monday I've had close contact with a case that was confirmed on Monday. My symptoms are relatively mild compared to what the vunerable can expect so making sure to keep it to myself. |
| Forum Reply | How do you stop a cat from defecating in your garden? at 01:22 14 Mar 2020
I've told my cat a number of times to stop doing it but he just won't listen :) To stop him shitting in my borders, I found plum slate to be most effective. Advised next door to do the same after they'd complained to me about it and now he goes next door but one. |
