| Forum Thread | Dyer and Routledge at 19:39 9 Dec 2018
OK, we had two players - Routledge in particular - who stepped in and played well yesterday. Both have garnered criticism from many in the past, but they are experienced and ex-Premier players who I would argue still have a lot to give in the Championship, particularly bearing in mind our raw young and threadbare squad. Routs out of contract this year, Dyer 2020 and presumably still on Premier pay. I am assuming, without disrespect, that their future playing would be at this level. Could/should we offer either or both new contracts from January at our Championship pay level, should there be no buyers and they want to stay? Constructive discussion, please! | Forum Thread | We need Leon - again at 12:24 6 May 2018
I honestly believe that we now, probably more than last season, need Leon on. He will bring back intelligence, commitment and control to our midfield. Get shot of Ki, he clearly is no longer interested and Carol needs guidance and discipline. No, Leon alone will not keep us up, but we need someone who actually gives a damn. |

Not even on the bench these days. He played a significant part in keeping us up last season and I hope that CC is not deliberately side lining the lad. |

Are there any recent cases of Premier League agents, Managers or even a Chairperson being caught receiving bungs in relation to bringing in very average players commanding disproportionate fees? Just out of interest. |

I mean financially, not morally (i.e. zero). Information I have picked up on states that he made £8m on his share sale and is on £500k per annum. Whoa! |
