I'm sure many of you watch the EFL highlights on Saturdays and Midweeks.
I only bother to watch the League Two highlights and more than ever check out the pitches.
Salford remains by far and away the worst surface. Fortunately we play them at the end of April so there should be some grass by then.
Looking at our pitch albeit via Sky tonight I am of the opinion that the development next to the ground hasn't impacted negatively on the drainage.
The pitch alongside the East stand has the most grass and least damage. It is the West stand that is in the worst condition.
At least the surface will be improving all the time for the vital last few home matches.
Although the pitch is poor, it was in a worse state for that infamous Southend game with the farcical defending from Seaweed.
Anyway it will have the summer to prepare for league one in August.

Resilience and brilliance in equal measure.
We are also winning the games that matter.
12 unbeaten.
Promotion you better believe it.
If we win on Saturday then we will be in the top seven and then the little matter of Valley Parade.
I am ecstatic tonight.
The U's are playing with passion, skill, ability and resilience.

Best game for Colchester without doubt
Time for a change bring Thorn on for Anderson.

It is easy to see why both teams are unbeaten for 11 games each.
Port Vale are workmanlike but difficult to beat.
We need two goals tonight to see them off.
Thorn must get some minutes, they will not like his pace.
Edwards beginning to open his legs and show his class as David Coleman once opined.
