5 years ago we were the talk and envy of the premiership.,....a model club on and off the field, look at us know......what a turn about what a tragic wasted opportunity to be an established top10 club , resorting to loaning our most exciting player for a pittance, just to get him off our wage bill......what a sad day for SCFC supporters  |

Like i said, it's something i heard, maybe after Fab left he is deemed to be our first choice,and may have had a clause in his contract....he can't be picked on his performances so there may be something about this situation !!! |

Don't know if it's true, but i heard it's in his contract that if he's fit...he plays, that must be pretty much the case because if we all can see how bad Nordfelt is surely Potter can, especially after that debacle yesterday, i know we should have buried that game, but that first pen had their tails up and rattled us, that was a pathetic piece of goalkeeping and cannot be defended, and contributed to our defeat yesterday. |

Yes costs do spiral...but so did the premier league money...massively, yet you need to manage that situation, along with the huge money we made on transfers..Siggy..lorente, to name but 2 then buying overpriced players from relegated sides...giving fringe players new 4 year contracts, and bringing in ex-players who have were clearly seen to be struggling the previous season is a shocking management of the funds we had available for a club our size, and that lies squarelyat Jenkins door... yes he did do a good job as chairman up until maybe 3 years ago, but as the cliche says...your only as good as your last game....or season in his case. Claudio Renieri done a fantastic job winning the premier league for Leicester but the season after he was sacked as relegation threatened. Jenkins said the end of 2016/17 when we just stayed up, "we won't find ourselves in this position again"..how right he was... |

Agree they had fight tonight.....but where was the fight the rest of the season, there are 38 games to "fight" not in one you need a result, Man city home and away, Spurs F.A.cup to name but a few, OK Man city and spurs are on a different level to us, but to let them walk all over us and not put a foot in is gutless. The wages they are picking up should demand 100%, the only one that seems to give that is Andre Ayew. |

I thought their defenders won every high ball, from corners especially, we have no other plan than to use the same ball for a corner, what DO they practice in the training ground, their centre half lapped them up |

I remember Jenks words last year...."we wont find ourselves in this position again", he's right, we were in a BETTER position this time last year. we have a gutless team, that doesn't deserve to stay in this division, it makes you sick to think these players are picking up 30 + grand a week, you'd pick up more passion and talent from Ashleigh road on a Saturday afternoon. |
