Well not exactly - they were refused entry because they weren't wearing the approved school uniform. True though that the approved school uniform was gender-neutral and specified 'no skirts', and also that the headmaster is a dickhead. |

It was good; most of their goals came from set pieces. Until the new year that is, then Brighton stopped scoring. I think other teams figured them out. |

As a Swansea boy who's lived in Brighton for the past 40 years, I really hope GP stays at Swansea. He's achieved a lot with limited resources, comes over as a genuine, positive manager not afraid to take chances, and seems to have build good relationships (and therefore trust) with a young team. Next year could be very exciting if he gets the support of the yanks. Unfortunately the above is pretty much exactly what Brighton needs - Chris Hughton was most of that but was very conservative in his game planning, and lost the trust of the players and the supporters months ago. Once that trust is gone it's difficult to get it back. But Laudrup to Brighton is a very interesting prospect! |

Yes, about 4 miles. Train or bus (number 25) to Falmer (free if you've got a game ticket). Parking anywhere near (like within 2 miles of) the ground is nigh on impossible on match days. |

From Burgess Hill I would definitely get a train to Brighton (10 minutes, 2 stops). Then either go to the ground directly, or have a swift beer (if you're after a Best Bitter then go for the Harveys) at the Battle Of Trafalgar pub, 1 minute from the station. There may be a couple of Brighton supporters in there but def no trouble. |

The multi-stories in the centre of town are expensive, but the train station car park is the cheapest (£13 a day). Or if that's full and you're ok with a 20 minute walk (5 minutes by bus) then go to the London Road car park (£15 a day). Or you can park outside my gaff for £3 a day if I get you permits - then a 10 minute bus journey or a nice 30 minute seafront walk to the centre. If anyone wants to do the last option let me know and I'll get some permits. |
