Also heard from a Bolton Fan our U18 cup match was called off today as we could not field a team & will get fined by the FA for it…
This highlights how bad our Acadamy has become.. No home grown talent, no future income |

We have done nothing in the transfer window.
In order to be “sustainable” we need to get back in the EFL & games like today / Tuesday drive fans away..
Been out & about today, because I always wear the badge, being coat / training top, got into many conversations from people I know and strangers “are you going today”… nope .. you?.. not one person I spoke to said yes (about 10 people)… not just me who cares about our Club but can’t bear to watch how much lower we can slump & it’s not entertaining or great to watch.
One person said they can build houses on it for all I care after 30 years now after what they did to us programme sellers.. never again.
Put a drive through Costa Coffee in the Car Park for me as that’s the close I would go to the ground.
Do I say call for McNultys head.. No I like him as a person but it’s no good being a cannon without someone behind you giving you the ammunition. Let’s see if Mark Hughes (again a love him or leave him Manager at all levels) can turn Carlisle’s year around and avoid the drop…
Solar Panels on the roof… Great, I have seen elsewhere the tie ins on these kind of deals, would love to see that contract..

I would imagine there are limited options and raises the Kingsway Business Park land which is disssapearing quickly last time I drove up there but should be enough room for a FC Utd style ground I mean let’s face it, we don’t need an Old Trafford do we…
There is a lot of land in Heywood around the new motorway link road as well but is that technically removing the Rochdale Link even though it is technically in the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale.
Is the old All in One Garden Centre big enough now it’s been flattened?
Can’t really think of anywhere “free” and big / flat enough.. Buying the Cricket / Lacrosse place I doubt is an option as access from the mini roundabout would cause carnage on match days & even less parking round there…
Also, I remember all the posts on here about a Training Ground & not a lot of suitable options |
