I agree he can play more offensively but he is just as good at breaking up the play with the added bonus of then being able to play the right ball. I just think Allen & Hery Given a licence to do what they do would be fantastic

Hurray For Hery!!
at 12:56 13 Aug 2014

going off last night and without the current striker that we all crave, I would like to see Bunney plated as the central striker. he has pace, can hold the ball up, and from what we have seen can actually finish when given the chance.

my team would be
lillis
Bennet Lancashire ( if fit) Tanser Rose

Lund

Vincenti Hery Allen Henderson

Bunney

Waste of what I would imagine is a very good wage.
I think Lund is more than capable of playing the Holding midfield role.
while leaving Allen & Hery to do what they do best, being the creative options.
From what I have seen of both of them would love to see them both given a chance in the same team. The signing of Dawson will only stifle their progress.

George new deal?
at 08:12 22 May 2014

I am with the majority of people on George, he really isn't good enough for league 2 let alone league 1. The only comparison I can make ( hope) is that Cav invoked a similar clause in his contract last year. and oh how we groaned, but didn't he end up being a major part of our promotion campaign?

Best League 2 team in the last decade?
at 15:50 14 May 2014

MK Dons would be top of the league based on points per game with an average of 1.96
Gillingham 2nd with 1.6. Southend 3rd with 1.54 And Chesterfield 4th with 1.59.
Ours stands at 1.527

Ashley Eastham
at 14:45 2 Sep 2013

Can any one tell me why Eastham has not featured recently, I have only been to the Hartlepool game, illness forced me to miss Chesterfield.
When we signed this lad everyone was really please and Hilly admitted himself that Eastham & Lancashire would be his starting centre half pairing. has he been that bad since Hartlepool?

Sky's pick of L2 players
at 17:18 1 Aug 2013

Have not been to any of the pre season games this year, typical didn't go for the reason of the plethora of changes that normally go with friendlies.

but I will pick Done & Hendo as our key players

Hogan don't know mucj about but he certainly seems to have had a very productive pre-season.

Hello to all stato's.
I was just wondering does anybody know how many ( if any) of the current 92 league clubs, we have never met in a competitive fixture?

Dale fan Mark Warburton.......

To all those who have posted regarding Mark, thank you for your kind comments.
Anyone who knew Mark will probably know me from the fact I have stood/sat next to him for the last 20 years. I can't begin to say how much he will be missed, and as at this moment the thought of going to the Dale without him is to much to bare.

Thanks again for all your kindness towards him.
He really really was a top top man. And my best Mate
