Why would we not want to be promoted? If poxy little clubs like Brentford and Bournmouth can stay in it, so can we. I'm sick of the Championship. it's a bollox league, and we should all want out of it. |

With Nourry saying if by 17/18 a lad is not pushing to be involved with the development/1st team squad they will, in affect, be released I think we will see the u18s and DS continue to struggle. A lot of fast tracking, loans at 16/17 which is already happening, moving up age groups. It can only be good. |

I like that he runs and tackles, but he can't pass. Can see Morgan taking that 6 role as he has Fields attributes, but can move the ball forward. |

Putting the goal aside, I thought the most pleasing thing was when he switched to the left when Chair went off. He was tracking back, doubling up with Paal, challenging. Compare that to WBA on the first day of the season, a massive difference. I was more impressed with that than the goal (which was a good finish), as his all round game is better than 5/6 months ago. |

He looks a lot less QPR'd with every passing week this run continues. |
| Forum Thread | Injuries. Are they always bad? at 19:25 18 Jan 2025
Morgan, Kolli, Morrison, and Varane have all broken through to a certain extent due to injuries. It's kinda weird that the injuries have turned into a bit of a plus for us. I'm not sure many managers would be brave enough to do those changes else. |

Fair play. You talk the talk about 17/18yo being cut if you're not around the first team, you better walk the walk. |

That's the best thing about today; the chances. Usually we make 1 or 2, today 4 nil would not have flattered us. Very surprised as to how well the back line played, but they had some great protection in midfield again today. |

Already done, as is Frey apparently. |

Nice one ! By far the better team, Plymouth look doomed. Thought we were pretty dominant, should have won by 3 or 4. Did Nardi make a proper save? Motm for me was Edwards, a rock at the back. Paal close second. Now, has everyone calmed down about the squad rotation? 🤣🤣 |

Ashby put out of his misery, and returned to the bench, Dunne back in. Fox and Edwards in the centre. JCS still as reliable as an old Reliant Robin. All looks good. Let's see what S_E has to moan about this starting lineup. [Post edited 18 Jan 11:40]

Reckon he needs a summer off season that Willock had after his first year. Came back bulked up and could physically hold his own. I can't wait to see a forward line of Chair and Dembele wide, Kolli at 10 with Celar up top. Lots of pace and movement. Varane and Morgan in the CM roles. Quite exciting! |

Good questions, good answers. MC does talk a lot of sense, and thought he explanation about the rotation was fair enough. |

One thing some fans might have to accept is that the Development/U21U18 results will suffer. But, its all for the greater good. |
