| Forum Thread | Wifried Bony's Agent Speaks... at 11:36 1 Aug 2014
Via Sky Sports: Agent Dalibor Lacina, who is representing Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony of Premier League side Swansea City, has told Wolfsburger Nachrichten newspaper the former Vitesse Arnhem striker would be keen on playing in the Bundesliga as he is eager to play in a European club competition. "Wilfried is out to play in a European club competition as much as he is out to play in a big European league. The Bundesliga is a league tempting to Wilfried. He would fit the bill at Wolfsburg." ---------------------- This to me either means a) his agent is looking for a nice chunk of any fee so is actively trying to get Wilf a transfer, or b) he's definitely off and has made his mind up. If he leaves I'd prefer it was to a team abroad, but seems like typically poor agent behaviour to start touting his client despite the fact he is under contract with the Swans. Agents - the scourge of football. |

Vorm, Tiendalli, Chico Flores, Williams (capt), Davies, Canas, de Guzman, Hernandez, Routledge, Emnes, Bony Interesting. Emnes and Tiendalli (!). Strong bench though. |

I'll have whatever Monk's been feeding these guys. I know it's been touched on in other threads but their performances since Gary took over have improved beyond belief (Bony was already performing well, but he seems to be chasing more potentially lost causes and pressuring the ball all over the park). Chico seems to have upped his level and has put in three outstanding performances since Laudrup left. There was also a great moment whet Routs won a throw in on the left and Bony ran/jogged over and gave him a high-five. Great team spirit, and bodes well. Now I wonder if he can do the same to Tiendalli and Vazquez, only in far higher doses! |

Yes the performance was outstanding and we merited at least one goal, but I cannot abide people leaving in the 85th minute. In the distant future, I'd love to see a system where tickets are automatically scanned to see when people leave. If it's prior to the 90th minute, automatically barred from the next game. Leaving early in potentially our last home game in Europe for many years...ridiculous. |
