Cool. Our family holiday (in June 2020) is to Seoul so looking forward to seeing your other videos about the area. My wife, son & I are hoping to take in a football match (& baseball match) while we're there....with our Swans shirts on. |

I started supporting the Swans in 1978 & since then I've seen us play in the top division in a total of 9 seasons and win a major trophy. Cardiff fans harp on about their FA Cup win & time in the top division, yet it was so long ago barely any of their fans have ever witnessed it. They keep mentioning the 1927 Cup win but football was in it's infancy & doesn't count for much. If they are judging a team on winning the FA Cup in those years then Royal Engineers (1 FA Cup win) are as big as them & Bury (2 FA Cups) are far bigger than them. |

Some years ago ITV digital went bust & a lot of clubs struggled as a result. I seem to recall at the time Jenkins saying we'd be ok because we hadn't spent the money as we hadn't received it. It seemed like basic housekeeping at the time. I only pay for things when I have enough money. Somewhere over the years the policy seems to be to spend the money before we get it in. Hence, last year's money received at the end of the season (calculated after tv money & your finishing position in the league) was already spent last season. They were gambling with our future. |

Watching the Swans in a European Competition was always on my bucket list. I only did Malmo away but just glad I did it. I loved the whole Europa thing. I know of quite a few people who wanted us to get out so we could concentrate on the league. The home crowds weren't great but I loved watching St Gallen one week & Valencia the next etc. Happy days indeed. |
| Forum Reply | Harries has some talent at 23:33 28 Aug 2018
re: Harries - Agree. The modern centre back can't just defend, but has to be able to start an attack. He played some lovely balls out from the back & never resorted to hoofing it. Very assured debut. |

What is this decline people talk of? He was awful on loan for us & when we signed him on a permanent deal most people I know we're gutted & the Spurs fans on their forum were pissing themselves laughing. Apart from Bony he must be one of the highest earners. He's played in the Premiership but I'd take a midfielder from the days we were in the lower division before him, like Ampadu, Cornforth or Martin Thomas. |

I'd love Ethan Ampadu. He plays centre back or defensive midfield, he"s young & hungry, he can play a bit, has a family connection.... & already has his own song. |

To the OP - I don't post on here that often these days. Remind me, when you talk about getting behind the team, are you the same guy that used to publicly slag off Siggy & Llorente, even when they"d had a really good game? |

Fair enough. We won when I saw them. They obviously weren't wearing that shirt. The 80s were a bit of a blur tbh mate. |
| Forum Reply | New Replica Shirt at 20:42 27 Jun 2018
I remember it as 4-1. We beat them 4-1 at home & away that season. According to David Farmer's book Pascoe, McCarthy (2) & Emmanuel scored (on 24/1/87). |

Fair play - these look better than the next season's Joma kit. I was the Orient away game when we wore the hooped shirt (won 4-1 with 10 men). I always liked the Hummel version of the White top. |

He said he didn't think it was a penalty because Ronaldo "was not in control of the ball". Is that the rule? I always thought it was either a foul or it wasn't a foul. When the English players were wrestled to the ground at corners they weren't in control of the ball either. |

I saw the highlights of the game they won against Arsenal in the Europa. These 2 lads stood out. One of them scored & the other set the goals up. |
| Forum Reply | U23s in the team for next season? at 19:58 13 May 2018
Byers is a superb player. So we give him u23 player of the season & don't give him a new contract? Only we would do that. |
| Forum Reply | Tom Carroll at 18:11 17 Mar 2018
Carroll did nothing in his loan stint here. Yet someone felt he warranted a £5m fee. What were they watching? He's been a regular this season & again, today, he played the full 90 mins. How does he manage it? |
| Forum Reply | Do we still have Korean tourists? at 22:11 11 Feb 2018
That was my son's flag. He had a Welsh one, then got a Spanish one, then a Danish one when Laudrup was here & then an Icelandic one when Siggy came back. They only cost about £3 plus the price of the lettering. He stopped bringing it last season cos they put advertising over the box & don't allow anyone to cover it. Probably a good thing cos he'd probably have bought a Ghanaian one by now. |
| Forum Reply | Bigger crowd for Alan Tates testamonial at 22:14 17 Jan 2018
regarding the size of the crowd - I have my season ticket for next year & have only missed one home game since the Liberty opened. However, I wasn't prepared to pay £10 in booking fees for 4 tickets for my family, so decided to stay away. It was a dilemma, but one that may well have seen others following suit. Jenkins/the Yanks have decided to get a little extra cash out of the fans, but they actually ended up losing my business for tonight. |
| Forum Reply | Clucas and Carol at 20:20 13 Jan 2018
Fer may offer more but neither Carroll or Clucas set the bar very high. We bought Fer the same summer we decided not to buy Allen. In their loan stints here both Carroll & Fer were not awful, but were very ordinary. Clucas is another ordinary player. What did the scout / director of football see in Carroll & Clucas that made us spend £21.5m on them. |
