| Forum Thread | Cooper must be sacked at 07:20 3 Apr 2021
If we want any chance at going up then we have to sack Cooper. I’m not sure what has happened but he’s lost it. It all lines up with most recent transfer window so it could be players coming in he did not want or he’s not managing to keep them all happy. Whatever it is, our downturn in form is beyond worrying and from looking like 2nd was ours to lose we now look like we will miss out on the playoffs. I’ve kept quiet til now because he deserved time to see if he could turn it around but last night has to be the final straw. There is too much at stake and even if we stumble over the line to the playoffs, we stand zero chance of winning them at this rate. Julian Winter needs to get his pal David Wagner over here. Played good football and got Huddersfield promoted. [Post edited 3 Apr 2021 7:21]

I never post scum news on here, but this story is pretty interesting. Definitely one of their better players and now a free agent. Wonder what he’s done, I’m betting it’s white, powdery and goes up idiots noses. |

Going to be laying a hallway and a living room for my parents this weekend. Never done it before, but I’m fairly decent with DIY. Are there any tips or hacks? Schoolboy errors to avoid? Is it best to start in the hall or the living room? Any tips gratefully received from anyone who’s done it! |
| Forum Thread | Pitch Measurements at 20:32 12 Apr 2019
Watching the Champions League game on the TV on Wednesday and a really boring thought entered my empty head. Obviously in Britain we work on imperial measurements, so it’s an 18 yard box, 6 yard box and the penalty spot is 12 yards from goal. The thing is, Europeans and everyone else worldwide work in metres. So are their penalty boxes etc measured in yards or meters? I need to get out more but if anyone knows I’d be keen to know the answer. |
| Forum Thread | Morrisons home delivery at 13:55 23 Sep 2018
Went down the morfa yesterday and saw a fleet of liveried vans outside Morrisons, looks like they are getting on the home delivery bandwagon. Personally I like Morrisons products but it’s location is not conducive for us to do our shopping there. I’d probably use their home delivery as I’m fed up with Asda and Tesco. Thoughts on your grocery shopping habits, home delivery yay or nay? My other half tends to get the weekly shop via Aldi, Tesco and Asda which sounds a pain really!! |
| Forum Thread | T.V and BT box on in the morning. at 21:56 5 Sep 2018
This has happened 3 times now in the last couple of months. First time I kind of ignored it, tired in the morning and rushing about to get out the door for work. It happened again a few weeks ago and was the case this morning so now I’m starting to think something weird is going on. I get up and come down stairs and as I’m getting near the living room it’s apparent the telly is on. Nothing unusual in that you might say - however, my other half is in bed and it can’t be my boy because he’s only 1 and in his cot! It can’t have been left on all night because the TV and box both switch off if they’ve not been touched for a couple of hours either. It’s not my partner because she is insistent she did not get up in the night with the little ‘un and I’d have heard them anyway. It’s a smart telly so has regular software updates and the box does too, but that couldn’t turn them both on. They have separate remotes so both need to be turned on to get them working. WTF is going on? Anyone else had similar? [Post edited 5 Sep 2018 21:58]

| Forum Thread | Van der Hoorn at 17:32 23 Sep 2016
Lives in the same building as me. Had a chat with him earlier and confirmed he is starting tomorrow. Wouldn't say if it was 3 at the back or if FF or JA was dropped. Positive news though as I thought he had a decent game on Weds. |
| Forum Thread | Persimmon homes at 14:41 15 May 2016
Hi all looking to take the plunge and get on the property ladder. Reviewing all options and just wondered if anyone has any experience of persimmon/Barratt developments locally. Some of the reviews online are terrible, but don't specify the region. The 2nd hand properties in budget need time and money to get them up to scratch and it's not something that interests me at all. Any help would be great. |
| Forum Thread | Employment advice at 15:35 12 Feb 2016
Hoping for some advice on an employment matter. Today my partner was given a letter from her employers about possible redundancy, with the meeting taking place Monday at 2pm. She has been given the option of bringing a "suitably qualified trade union official" with her. I want her to have that support as the boss is piece of work and I want her treated fairly. She is not a union member and neither am I. I'm guessing it's like car insurance where you can't buy it after a bump e.g we can't join a union for an existing matter, albeit only a couple of hours. Any help on this would be appreciated as I want her fairly represented in front of her scumbag boss. |
