Problem is we are still inviting trouble with our passing at the back, and gave the ball away on several occasions, other possession teams pass out from the back but move the ball up field QUICKLY! we don't, and we get caught out in our third. Change this and we might have a chance, but RM takes too long to see this.
The one Change we are making is we're getting the ball to Archer a bit quicker through Fernández, but we need to do more all over the pitch. Rusty needs to look at B'mouth to get some ideas.

This is typical 'Labour speak' profits are bad, someone who creates jobs and is successful is an ars*hole. The politics of envy. The vast majority of Labour voters think like this and then they wonder who provides the taxes to keep the welfare machine turning. Blinkered beyond belief.

Diaz £7m
Cornet £13m
Stewart £8m
Onuachu £18m
AA £15m
Archer £15

All those lumps add up to £76m !!! We could have bought 2 premier league strikers for £38m each and added some quality. Add in Sulemana and Frazer and we could have had another PL player. When do the owners realise they are wasting money on gambling on mediocre players.

' Labour are doing the best they can'
Nobby is as clueless about economics as he is about football, with his knee-jerk reactions.
Attacking wealth creators, entrepreneurs and businesses, has always led to the stifling of growth, and lowering taxes on business increases investment, growth and jobs.
Thatcher and Major set the tone for incredible growth in the late 80s and 90s by reducing waste and lowering taxes which Blair had the good sense to continue, until they busted the flush with over spending and borrowing.

It's probably because he secretly doesn’t like leaders who have their own opinion. Lallana would have organised them, he spends most of his time directing the game when he comes on.
100 times more experienced than RM as is said on another thread.

So you wouldn't replace him if Moyes or Potter wanted the job?
Even Carlos Corberán from West Brom would do a better job.

Palace are looking at Moyes and Potter.

If we don't act soon these 2 options might disappear. Palace haven't won a game yet and Moyes tipped to take over.
At times like this you almost wish Cortese was back.

I agree Ramsdale has been excellent, however passing a very long ball through several Leicester players, along the ground was high risk option we could have avoided. Especially with our record of losing possession in our own half. Lofting it would have been a better option

Why is Ramsdale doing these long passes along the ground into midfield? Is that another thing RM insists on? He did it several times and each time our player was caught on the ball because the oppo had lots of time to see it coming. These passes where asking to be intercepted and where another calamity waiting to happen. When he lofted it into the air, upfield we very often won the ball, if we didn't at least it was in their half.
The Madness is spreading.

Glimmers of hope extinguished by the same old problems.
at 10:41 20 Oct 2024

There was a glimmer of hope in that first half and maybe it was a surprise to RM that if you get the ball quickly up the field you can score goals. KWP and Dibling are able to get balls into the box and Archer looks like he's could be our main source of goals. Problem is it has taken all this time for us to look effective., and RM couldn't see this.
Maybe we couldn't play this way for 90+ minutes, but that's where you need to stiffen the defence. On all aspects of football strategy he is inept.

Leicester Game Matchday Thread

Just like the Ipswich goal in the last minute...so we make the same stupid mistake AGAIN, and who's the coach?
Overall a better performance because we moved the ball up the pitch QUICKER, but still lost the ball too many times at the back trying to be clever again....if we played like we did in the first 20 minutes we would have won easily.
This game is a complete kick in the nuts.

Predictions For The Team Tomorrow
at 11:11 19 Oct 2024

None of the team selections above will succeed if we continue to fook around in our own penalty area. Doing this has lead to almost all the goals we've conceded, so no matter how we change the team unless we change the tactics there will be only one result.
