Yes, thought I'd give him a blast of Gaeilge to welcome him. |

Realistically, the level is poor Paddy. It is improving massively of late, though, and Irish players are much better technically than they used to be. Armstrong was odd in that he was far less technical than other Irish internationals of his age and relied on his speed and strength, a real throwback to oldern days in Ireland. Ferguson's a quality player, a generational player for the League of Ireland, and I hope he recovers form and fitness. As for Dillon, this was posted on this board a few weeks ago and I asked around about him but couldn't find out anything reliable, sorry. Best of luck to him. |

Was over there last year and eight of us bought our tickets from the club. Sorry, never used a travel company either. Can't recommend Athletic Bilbao enough. Cracking stadium, great atmosphere (considering how few away fans travel in La Liga) and a superb city with great transport links. P.S. Watch those kick-off times in La Liga. They move around a lot for TV. P.P.S. Lots of local teams around the Basque Country if you want to catch a second game while out there. Buses are great, trains are sketchy enough. "into-the-box run-making"! That's going straight into the Nourrysaurus! Nourrysauras nourry sɔːrəs/ noun a linguistic resource that spins bullshít phrases in groups of synonyms and totally unrelated concepts. |

When we were teenagers and were in dodgy guitar bands, the only places that we could get a gig was the clubs - working mens', tories, catholic, anything. No gig money, maybe a pint each and lots of grief from the poor locals. how they put up with us, God alone knows. They're nearly all gone now, and the couple that are left around Harrow seem to have gigantic yard sales on union jacks. They look like 1920's Raj Clubs. |

Thanks for typing all that up, Clive. Fair play. On the one hand, he seems to be learning, on the other he's still spinning to save his life. The best new one is “we didn’t have any injuries” to report on. He doesn't help himself. |

Excellent news. Hopefully no release clause or anything like that. |

Ok, I'm going to tell people it was, though. "Talk to me Cos you can see Oh, what's going on (What's going on) What's going on (What's going on) What's going on (What's going on) What's going on (What's going on)" |
