Not so much a joke, more a satirical observation. So would it be ok to say the men's team are too black? Which players do (you?) Eilidh Barbour and the BBC propose should be excluded from the team because of the colour of their skin? Four legs good, two legs better |

Nick, I only have one question for you. When did fanzine administrators become responsible for their football club's policies and ethics? |

After the Villa match I'm quite happy to see him stay near his line! You don't get to be the meanest defence without the defenders and goalkeeper working well together and let's not forget that several of them haven't even played a full season for us yet. I think Frazer's decision-making has improved and he's catching the ball a lot better than in some of the earlier games. My criticism of him previously was coming out for balls he couldn't get to and hesitating at key moments (like the Villa game). He seems to have cut that out and I think he'll get better and better personally. |

Sadly, Mane was the liveliest player up front tonight. Fonte and Clyne by far the best players in a team that looked tired and out of sorts. If anything, I think it showed how important Steve Davies is to the team. All in all a poor performance but that's going happen in a season...they can put that right against Man City! For those who watched the game on TV I can report that it was bloody cold there!! |
