There are times when you turn on the news or walk down the street and witness the crap that passes for modern life and with a shudder despairing, think “what a world” Then you read a post like that…..
During covid I got a friend to compile a USB of Rangers related somgs from spotify to play in the car. I didn't like many of the songs, but as you say, warm & fuzzy !
Ted will know Vic Flick. I don't suppose many would have liked John Prescott but he was a strong character, outspoken in his opposition to rail privatisation and other dubious policies. Oh, and he liked jazz. Was he called “two jabs” or “two Jags” ?
Looks like only Paal of the injured players may play. Could Celar, stung by the criticism, in tight lipped fury smash a first half hat trick past the Stoke defence ?
Trouble is, we don't know how management at the club view us. When most of us turned down the offer of refunds on STs during covid, they said they were touched by our loyalty. Vicky Verky, they may see us as stupid plebs who will cough up £30 a game no matter what. I don't think that's true, so I think they would listen to politely worded protests.
“That goal” was of course eclipsed by the goals away to Boro and Sooderloond. Anyone got clips ? I remember one home game when he drew raptuous applause for walking unaided onto the pitch to kick off. No seriously, I liked him alright just a shame about the fitness.
Me too, but even at the cheap price I'm beginning to weaken. What with the Sky deal, the mess the club's in and the disdain the club shows towards its fans, I can see ST sales collapsing next season.
I have to admit I had to look it up. My back is terrible due to degenerative spine and I get little help from doctor. “Just old age” they say. The only help I get is from a certain Scottish medicine.
