I always find it telling how many players the EPL exports to the La Liga and Bundesliga, as opposed to the other way. Would love to see some stats. [Post edited 7 Jan 2014 21:22]

I think the quality on the pitch in the EPL is better across the league. If we are talking about other things, pricing, safe standing etc then I think the Bundesliga is miles ahead. But that, to me, is not what we mean when asking about the quality of a league. To me it is about the quality of the teams in that league.
I think it is also fair to say that this season the EPl is poorer than it has been for some time. And more teams are trying to play properly, a passing game. It's because they are new to it that there is a drop in quality. Even Stoke have been trying to keep the ball down!! But Fulham, Sunderland, Villa and a few others are trying to not be "ave it" teams. |  |

I think EPL players pretty much stays in the UK. Because of the Home-grown rule British players get paid quite a bit in the PL. And they cannot get the same inflated salaries abroad. [Post edited 8 Jan 2014 15:41]
