Oldham are dropping like a stone and Alty beat York away last night, there's nobody in that league to be overly worried about if we just play to our own strengths.

The Oldham meltdown currently going on on X is superb car crash viewing. There’s one in particular who takes football far too seriously and I’m actually worried for the lads mental state.

The injury toll is already building up and it would not surprise me if both Hogan and Waller were doubts for Saturday as they both appeared to be limping and carrying injuries at the end last night. The team will need all the support we can give over the next few weeks and we need to acknowledge that Jim will have to 'box and cox' the best he can with the players available. UPTD.

Waller has been playing with an injury to the left leg for weeks....

Excellent 3 points well deserved.

Kingdon was excellent as already mentioned. We have to keep winning to get back onto the coattails of 7th.

I agree there is nothing to fear in this league. Scruffy winner BUT 3 points all the same.

Actually though Buyabu was great offensively he has one hell of a left foot whipped in cross.

Roll on Saturday.

What's the deal with Fin Armstrong, is he able to be recalled?

How are Gateshead 4th in the league?

A really hard watch that but fair dos we managed to snatch it.

A weird team selection for me and even weirder that McNulty waited until almost the 70th minute mark to make a change.

We go on though.

Barlow came on for Ayinde at half time.

I think Hogan is proving to be a good signing, a no nonsense defender who is strong and wins most of his headers. He also brings loads of experience to the backline which we have missed since EEL picked up his injury. We've beat two top teams over the last few days and not conceded, that should give everybody plenty of confidence after a recent run of poor results in the league.

Agree, Hogan has been an excellent signing. I would however say his defending is much better than his distribution.
He was my MOM last night and I'm sure it was good for Kingdon to have someone with Hogan's experience alongside him.

Hogan raw and stripped back is excellent.

Hogan thinking he is Franco Baresi not so much..

Excellent last night, nice to record another clean sheet.

Imagine most would have put away that early chance last night.
