The NHS is great and so is science endeavour when it works for the citizens of this country. This is what we pay our taxes for.
I hardly ever use the NHS and haven't been to the Doctor for years. I know I should, but I am lazy as we know.
Still, despite that, I am glad my taxes go towards your health even though I don't directly get the benefit. I am a patriot and want the UK to be great as it is, and we need all UK people to be looked after to prosper, not just the few. |  |

About time the NHS caught up with best practise from other countries.
I need monthly blood tests, after a couple of DVTs. For at least 18 months, I've had blood taken in the morning, with online results available the same afternoon. That's the French health system for you. |  |

Not wanting to simply dunk on the NHS, but the truth is my father has been in with pneumonia since the start of December. after 2 rounds of antibiotics were stopped to early he now has a super infection.
I've picked up Flu visiting the wards, my mother is nearly exhausted. Lets not guild the lily here it's great when thing go well, but I can give you hours of examples for frankly dangerous levels of care.
There is a long way to go.
