Looks like the Chancellor of this great country is now in more of the sticky stuff, it appears a letter sent to her from a Tory MP Richard Holden asking her directly to clarify her position whilst holding the role of an economist, "Under government guidance, published in September, it states ministers should respond to such correspondence within 20 working days, meaning Ms Reeves should have responded by Monday December 16 at the latest" but she hasn't , its not a good look mispresenting your self at the best of times but for a senior member of a Government even less so.
On a side note note google Richard the 111 ,that's an uncanny resemblance if I may say so .

You don't have to look very far to see what would happen UK wide if Labour got in.

The Senedd a Labour government in charge of a £24 billion pound budget having absolutely no-one with a shred of business experience/acumen.

Working for the media, working as trade union solicitors, college lecturers, ex local councillors, 3rd sector charity lot, and working as political researchers are not REAL jobs.

This Labour mob should be no where near a £24 billion + budget.

If your going to lift an article and post it in its entirety why not include the link so we can see who the source is and be able to make up our own mind on the veracity of the the information.

Guido Fawkes ( the source ) is hardly a reliable and impartial source of information. We’ve another 4 and 1/2 years to go, let’s see what happens.

I didn’t vote Labour, but I’m giving the, a chance because the last lot were the most incompetent bunch of chancers and crooks we’ve ever seen.

Edit- Gwyn, apologies I hadn’t got as far as your post highlighting the link to Guido Fawkes.

again why wait , we're living in this mess now , an economy on the downturn when prior to the election was in recovery .
I never asked who you voted for nor do I care, that's the the beauty of democracy so why do you keep repeating that you didn't vote for them I don't know.
Anyway read the article then make up o your own mind

The issue we have is that we have a large number of MPs who have had political careers rather than experience of working in a careers with complexity, strategic and day to day consequences.
Somebody running a business needs to understand markets, products, sales, service, supply chains, infrastructure, finance, people, process, technology and regulation in order to be successful, if they mess up there are real consequences for themselves and others.
People get hurt, people lose their jobs, customers are put at risk, businesses fail.
If you are a political aide or researcher and have a bad day there are no such concerns.

Faith in Politicians whatever Party shout the loudest at PMQ or Breakfast time tele slots banging on about their plans and policies are just lies and misdirection by many MPs .

No wonder many youngsters cannot be bothered to take an interest in Politics these days .

Was told once , the lot of them are on the take why do I care , sad but their thinking now .

Blair , Bojo , Truss and now Starmer all totally inept at getting the public onside for them .

Great line on HIGNFY , Ed Davey joking about getting freebies tickets for a Taylor Swift concert at Wembley Stadium , all passed on and declared . A gift from the FA he said .

Ian Hislop said why did you refuse it as a matter of principle for a MP to turn it down .
More waffle followed but genuine followers could have attended that gig instead .
By now he was squirming and the jovial banter evaporated .

Politicians , got to love them .
