Clear and obvious that was not!! So it has to be allowed
Watch the pgmol come out this week and say it was an error when it’s too late
These muppets need proper suspensions like players get
Fools all of them

Have just been on the BBC site and so much vitreol being thrown at that decision. As onesaid, if Armstrong was "interfering with play", why look at Archer being offside first!

A disastrous decision from the VAR team said the bbc
That guy made an awful decision looking at the VAR when we played wolves
Suspend the tool for 3 games he is useless

Four and a half minutes to rule a goal out.

I can’t wait to be relegated back to The Championship simply to avoid this utter and complete nonsense which Premiership wide has simply spoilt fans enjoyment of what was once a beautiful game.

As bad as we’ve been this season that’s probably 5 or 6 points VAR has cost us, it’s a fooking disgrace

Sky have just managed to find a reason to justify the decision but def signs of despearation!
Apparently Armstrong distracted the keeper by lifting his leg up to flick the ball in to the net

He couldn't have flicked it into the net with the ball so far behind him. Even if he'd managed to make contact with the ball, he'd just have helped Brighton by clearing the cross away from goal and preventing Archer from scoring.

It's just a bloody nuisance that Armstrong did that stupid flick back with his foot and gave VAR an excuse to intervene. I guess it was just a reflex reaction.

I've looked at the replay and you can see the Brighton goalkeeper was neither unsighted nor distracted by Armstrong. That's why it took the VAR ref 5 minutes to convince himself that he was.

This is a perfect example of the fact that it’s NOT VAR that’s the issue it is the fools who operate it and make decisions
Todays VAR as I have already said was the imbecilic ref who went to the monitor and deemed there a foul in the build up to our equaliser at wolves
Today he and spent 5 Minutes trying to find something wrong when it could have been left alone
It all stems from a lack of A) ability and common sense and B) refs who have never played the game
And its cost us at least 4 points
That said we still make the same mistakes so maybe it’s all we deserve

Let’s not forget Beto’s ‘offside’ goal in our only win of the season.
If there was no VAR in place that would of stood.

Swings and roundabouts.
It’s here to stay.
Just gotta get on with it.

I’m sure it’ll be used as an excuse as we will head into Wednesday’s game as poor old Southampton.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

I have been posting on here about how utterly sh*t VAR is from day one.

I wonder does anyone still support it?

The FA or PL are not going to pull the plug. It’s getting to the stage where the govt need to take the decision out of their hands.

It’s like the civil aviation authority letting faulty planes continue to fly.

The whole thing is now a complete shambles and everyone involved, particularly those who allow it to continue to ruin football matches week after week, is a disgrace. They don’t deserve to have the stewardship of football - they clearly don’t give two f*cks about the game or the fans. Either that or their all completely corrupt.

Poll: Should we try to replace Selles for the final seven games?

The issue is it’s ruining the game. That moment of pure joy and a shared bond when Saints score has been destroyed as people in as bunker miles away take nearly 5 minutes to make a decision despite the directive on clear and obvious errors.

Add to that the feigning injuries, the blatant cheating and managers waving imaginary cards at officials after last night I’m done with it all. Cancelled TV subscription and will spend my disposable income elsewhere. I may return when we are back in the Championship.

Every sympathy with you Heisenberg.

I’m done with The Premiership and V A R in particular. Were it not that I’m a season ticket holder and have paid up front, I wouldn’t attend another game this season.

Next season The Championship now looks nailed on for us.As long as V A R remains the property of The Premiership alone then next August can’t come quick enough for me.

Yesterdays ruled out goal was very similar to the Arsenal 2nd against us.
Obviously VAR turned a blind eye to that one.

Let’s remember Southampton Football Club decided not to vote out VAR when Wolves brought the vote up.

So they can’t really complain about last night can they!?
