It's a matter of record that we wouldn't match the 8 million Liverpool wanted and that after a superb Euros Stoke bid 13 million and off he went.

Players have a short career and 1 injury can ruin as can a a loss of form etc. I don’t blame Joe Allen for taking what was on fire at Stoke. If Darling and Cabango haven’t had new contract offers by now, then that’s a poor reflection on the club. If I were in their shoes, I’d be annoyed and I’d be looking for the outski, but it’s a risky gamble because 1 injury and it could be all over. Disclosing exact conditions can render the person doing so to committing a crime.
No agent would do that, worst from the fact their reputation would be in tatters.
For players, I would doubt it’s a clause unless the club or player insist on it.
The areas aside the obvious and most crucial are.
Confidentiality Clauses: Restrictions on disclosing club information.
Social Media Restrictions: Rules on social media use to avoid public controversies.
