The Pound 13:57 - Sep 24 with 101628 views | Stanmiguel | Well, the money markets didn't like the mini budget. I met Liz Truss in a hotel in Monmouth a few years ago. She said her solution to pensioner poverty would be to feed them on Pedigree Chum. Not only would this save a lot of money, it would give them shiny coats and a nice cold nose.

With the Euro and in the Schengen area all without a referendum. It would take a brave party to do that. Still if we did rejoin Nicola Sturgeon would not be very happy

Blackrock will be advising the Chancellor on the economic direction of the country... the WEF is getting deeper into the UK govt. So if Blackrock is running the treasury- the WEF also setting the rules the, WHO running health why are we paying £ millions for 650 gormless MP’s? BlackRock are now running the UK on behalf of The Federal Reserve Bank of the United States. I think we are under administration (as in bankrupt). All the covid crap only delayed it for 30 months. Perhaps, although Rees-Mogg's department have - apparently - already prepared an energy conservation public advertising campaign, a campaign which Truss has blocked up to now because she considers it too interventionist.

It's been mooted Farage and Laurence Fox may be merging the Reclaim and Reform parties. You know what, they may actually challenge the SNP for the official opposition spot when Labour get in by a landslide.Tories seem set for self immolation then to regroup under a new "management" to arise like a phoenix from the flames.

The BBC bloody loves the IEA (Institute of Economic Armageddon I call them). They're all over their politics/current affairs shows like Question Time and Politics Live. I think this needs serious action if Labour get in, if you're a think tank going to appear on publicly funded channels such as the BBC promoting these fundamentalist (emphasis on the mentalist) free market economic theories then you need to disclose who funds you. They've obviously got something to hide by not doing this. No disclosure, no airtime.

The Pound on 15:38 - Oct 18 with 1843 views | derbyhoop | It's been quite amusing to watch this clusterfck from the sensible side of the Channel. Truss wasn't the choice of Tory MPs but around 81k mostly white, mostly male, mostly older, mostly southeastern wealthy individuals. Sunak's policies always seemed more realistic than Trussonomics and so it has been shown. Anecdotal evidence suggests that there were elements of racism in the final choice. It's debatable if this PM/ this Govt can survive until late 2024. Could Labour be any worse? Seems unlikely ATM. Hopefully, people will manage to get through this period without irreparable damage. But the smart money wouldn't bet on it.

My guess is foreign nationals and/or companies are undoubtedly behind much of the funding. Easy way to get around the rules prohibiting non-nationals from making political contributions. Behind all the performative flag waving these people and their patsies are traitors.

The Pound on 17:10 - Oct 18 with 1638 views | Rs_Holy | From the Beeb....PM no longer committed to inflation pensions rise Liz Truss is no longer promising to raising state pensions in line with surging inflation, as she asks ministers to look for spending cuts. The prime minister said two weeks ago she was "committed" to the triple lock, so payments rise by whatever is higher: inflation (price rises), average earnings or 2.5%. She's all over the place.... In one way I'd like her to stay so we get a majority for Labour at the election but what sort of a country will they inherit???... I said a few days into her Premiership that I have never been this scared before about a Prime Minister... I have seen nothing since then to change my mind :(

Turn the light off when you leave the room. Put a jumper on. Turn the room thermostat down to 19C. Don't brush your teeth in the shower. Don't leave the fridge door open while you make your mind up what to eat. What else is there to know?

Struggling to make ends meet? Wondering how you'll afford the energy bills? Well, the easy solution is to spent £10-20k on solar panels that'll take decades to break even. Voila.... reduced monthly bills. Bloomin' plebs can't even work out something that simple.

Just get a better job and park all your money offshore to avoid tax. Easy. Or if you can't do that just get a job that pays under 13k and you don't have to pay tax anyway.
