Missed a glorious opportunity. Dreadful 1st touch....
Beat me to the post. At great run by him, and a great pass to find him but completely fluffed it.
0-0 at HT. A decent work out with us having the better chances and attacks. County have had a few dangerous crosses but a few of there chances have come from poor passing or touches by ourselves. Typical pre-season friendly so far and a reasonably entertaining game. Ryan looks very comfortable at the back & I would say our best player so far although Newby was lively at the start.

Good to watch - much better coverage than the Atherton game (understandable).
Newby is ace. The need for a left back and centre forwards is glaringly apparent. Looking forward to the second half - with one eye on the cricket, of course.

Do you know anything about the trialist that you can share?

First of all, a big well done to Stockport for allowing the game to be viewed for free, and also for the high quality of the presentation.
I would say that, as I know one of the presenters.
He tells me that they have been told to mention Dale's financial plight by someone at our club, which they certainly are doing at every blinking chance. But why would we want it known that we are short of cash? I don't get it at all, unless it's part of a managed relegation .
If it wasn't blindingly obvious before, it must be now...As others have rightly said, we need two forwards, as neither Tavares nor Done look like scoring many in L1, and we look very weak at left back, where Keohane looks so sluggish.
Good first half from Newby, and in general our midfield has looked superior to theirs.

Think it’s more to do with dealing with agents and their demands...
They paid some money out this close season, in that they have signed Rooney from Barrow (paid a fee), Mark Kitching from Hartlepool (unsure if a fee was paid), Jordan William from Afc Flyde (fee paid) and Connor Jennings from Tranmere (unsure if a fee was involved)

And the rest. They've brought in about 8 players, as well as extending contracts of others.
If you don't know why your posts keep getting downvoted, there's no hope for you.

Pretty good until we get 30 yards from their goal. Ryan and Newby look excellent. Is it my imagination though or does McLaughlin get up gingerly after every time he’s involved in a challenge?Just got a pop-up to say that there six changes at the break.

'Mike Flynn's Rochdale academy'....... I wish they'd fook off with all this County nonsense.
Nyal Bell, Jordan Williams, Mark Kitching all former Dale players, though you wouldn't know..
1-0 Dale, Lund scrambles it in after a great run by Baah who will be a bit dissapointed he didn't score himself. His second great run & looks a handful
