Question(s) for the Stattoes among us 12:07 - Mar 6 with 3056 views | TimBowen | With the 'Mighty Jacks' having won our last 7 successive matches at home, does any one know, or can find out, when was the last time we achieved this most impressive feat? Secondly, any suggestions as to which are the best websites providing accurate statistics or answers of this kind?

Question(s) for the Stattoes among us on 12:25 - Mar 6 with 3008 views | Jack_Kass | Using league games only, 10 at home in 2007-2008, which is the first one that came to my mind, starting with a win against Hartlepool on 27/11/07, and ending in a 2-1 defeat to Millwall on 07/03/2008, think we were going for the record that night, but don't know off hand the year we were aiming to beat. We also beat Horsham at home in the FA Cup during this period, but drew with the famous Havant & Waterloovile, in the next round. We won 7 in a row at homein 1999-2000, starting with a win against York on 3/12/1999 and ending with a 0-0 draw with Hull on 25/02/2000. Our home win against Colchester in the FA Cup doesn't fall into this time period. http://www.worldfootball.net/teams/swansea-city/21/ [Post edited 6 Mar 2018 12:28]

My mistake, we weren't going for the home wins in a row record, we were aiming to equal the 'games unbeaten' record, which still stands at 19 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/7272513.stm

Question(s) for the Stattoes among us on 12:42 - Mar 6 with 2961 views | Jack_Kass | Our record 19 game unbeaten streak, is shared between the 1970-1971 season, and the 1960-1961 season. We didn't create any significant streak of wins at home in 70/71, but looking back at the 60-61 season.. From Boxing Day 1960, when we beat Portsmouth 4-0, we won all our remaining 13 home games that season, including 2 games against Preston and Port Vale in the FA Cup The home win streak would end on the opening day of the next season, in a 1-1 draw against Huddersfield Town. The total undefeated streak would last for another 3 games, before we lost 2-1 at home to Preston North End [Post edited 6 Mar 2018 12:44]
