| Genetically, paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but it is scientific fact. |

Why on earth would we let one of our best midfielder go..what's the point in loan. There's 6 days to go and the emphasis is getting players off wage bill...so that's Mesa,Amat, baston, Montero out when surely they'd be best trying to help us out. By a Spaniard in summer loan him in January is bit of a thing and let's be honest it sucks and cannot be acceptable surely. Let's just hope Monday nights win will not be in vain and the board work hard in next 6 days. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It shows how desperate we are to save money. The problem is that we only made that paltry £30 million profit in the summer window. I hope the board have learned their lesson when they sell Alfie Mawson and Fabianski in the next summer window, We musn't be pressured into any signing that may cost us money. The investors must come first. C'mon you investors ......C'mon you investors We've got the best hedge fund in the land etc...
Player to fly in within next few hours to have medical with Swansea City on 16:07 - Jan 25 with 6306 views | Glyn1 | Bookmark this to see if it's true. As we explained earlier, Swansea City need to be careful they’re not taken for a transfer ride here: ‘Sevilla don’t have the best reputation when it comes to loans and transfers. They’ll try every trick in the book to get one over on the selling club, even if that means working to lower a player’s value towards the end of the loan by pushing him aside. Samir Nasri started off great during his Sevilla loan, and was even one of the best players in La Liga, but the club, never having any intention of using their €25m buying option (which they’d considered too high) played him through injury continually and rushed him back from issues, and by the end of the season he was a shell of the player he had started off in Seville as. Nasri, having been bang on song and back to his, went down a slippery slope which essentially saw Manchester City lose out on a reasonable fee. Last summer there was the Jordan Amavi medical debacle and that was before they put old boy Jesus Navas through a summer of uncertainty to force the cost of his wages, he arrived on a free transfer, much lower than had been expected. When it comes to Sevilla, seller, or loaner, beware.’

Probably no different than saying your #1 goalkeeper has no value when part of a 2 player deal to enable no % of the sale goes to his previous club.

When are people going to realise the owners have no intention of buying any reasonable premiership standard player? All I had in August was the clueless on here telling me how the owners were keeping £30 million as an emergency fund for players if the team were struggling come January.Well that has become reality and we all now even the clueless that they have no intention on spending what is needed.

Read somewhere that the squad was close to the 25 limit, so it might be case of people have to go out before anyone comes in. If this is true, then Jay Fulton having the opportunity to get some game time is a plus, the loaning out of Mesa is a concern. Like a lot of people, I don’t know what is going on behind the scenes and whether there are issues, but he is the second big money signing from Spain who has not been able hold down a place in the team and been moved on. There is another thread on here talking about HJ and the club punching above its weight etc. Swansea City is smaller than a lot of clubs in the PL, but unlike a lot of clubs it doesn’t have a great deal of debt to service. Historically, the club has been punching above its weight through what I would say is a combination of good managers, stewardship from HJ and others, shrewd acquisitions on the player front and some luck. More recently though it’s gone Pete Tong, for a variety of reasons including purchasing of players. Tabannou, Borja Baston, Mesa, must have cost close to £30m, chuck in the others who have not made it and that figure increases. Swansea City cannot afford to spend this money on players who don’t cut it. Had those purchases worked out, I believe the club wouldn’t be languishing at the bottom of the PL now.

How much quality is in that 25, we can drop players out of the 25 and replace them in this window mind and they can go back to the 23's.

Player to fly in within next few hours to have medical with Swansea City on 19:25 - Jan 25 with 5180 views | PozuelosSideys | People still havent got it. These people make money by stripping every single cent of cost out of a business, making the business look better on paper. I reckon Fulton and Mesa wont be the last ones out in this window. Especially if we want to see one player coming in
