Bristol City 22:11 - Dec 20 with 2519 viewsskettyparkherbert

I hope the Swans players were watching Bristol City Vrs Man uU tonight.

Bristol were absolutely fantastic. They were the better team in the first half and played some really good stuff too.

The most noticeable thing for me was their work rate with and without the ball.

Man U chucked on all the big guns in the 2nd half but Bristol kept to their game plan and passed the ball well under tremendous pressure.

Compared to our shower the other night against Everton it was chalk and cheese.

No real names in the Bristol side but a clear football identity and fantastic work ethic too, they are obviously coached very well by Lee Johnson as they are up the top of the Championship with some much bigger clubs who have spent big.

A top young manager for sure?

Hungry players no overpaid prema donnas, something to play for, unlike ours picking up £££££££ no matter how they play, no incentive to work.

Premier league wages has taken all the incentive and hard work away from our multi millionaire players.

I still can't get my head around giving Routs and Dyer 4 year extensions to their contracts at £35k a week.Dyer was deemed surplus to requirements when we loaned him to Leicester but when he came back a 4 year deal, funking madness.

84% of the clubs income is spent on players wages, a recipe for disaster me thinks
